A mid range hotel for Bajawa with three different types of rooms. If not for hot water, don't pay more than for an economy room because there is no difference! Rooms are clean, the breakfast is okay (still basic) and the Wi-Fi works even in the streets (but not always in rooms..). They can help you to contact guides if... More

I agree with other comments that Bajawa seems to have a limited choice of accommodation, and we chose this one purely because it was the cheapest we could find, late on a rainy afternoon. We didn’t feel very welcome there as the staff were more interested in TV than helping us with what we needed. Perhaps the rooms upstairs are... More

It was my second night in Flores and indeed better than my first stay at Moni, Ende but still way below my expectation. Rooms was old, smelly and moldy especially the bathroom, gave the impression not being properly cleaned for long time. Had television in the room and good internet connection. Hot water was available for shower but with inconsistent pressure... More

In the morning, please don't lay down in your room, going outside and look at Inerie Volcano scenery and the landscape from the hotel. Enjoying your breakfast with Bajawa Coffee and Banana Pancake. The hotel is a bit of a ramble, and the rooms are adequate -- though some can be a real hike! The breakfast is edible, with a... More

We agree with MarkB from Melbourne as this place is a rambling building and we found (actually our driver did) a lovely room with view of the volcano And a sweet little porch to watch the sunrise and sunset Great good over the road We loved this town

I always like to travel to cool, lovely Bajawa, and while the Edelweiss Hotel isn't thrilling, it's about as good as it gets in Bajawa. The hotel is a bit of a ramble, and the rooms are adequate -- though some can be a real hike! The breakfast is edible, and they are the only place in town (I think)... More

A lot of people seem to expect a 5 star experience at a 2 star price. This upwardly rambling 'guest house' provides a variety of options at prices commensurate with similar accommodation in this strange but refreshingly cool town. Rooms are modestly furnished but are clean and comfortable. Bathrooms basic, soap supplied, western toilet. Breakfast is basic Indonesian fare. Of... More

I once stayed at Edelweiss Hotel for a work travel. It was based on a friend's reccommendation and overall, for an average stay, I would say Edelweiss gave their effort. I stay at the room for one person, so it was quite helping for the cost. Bathroom They had hot water and used shower. However, sometimes the hot water did... More

I think the reviews are a bit harsh. Accommodation across Flores is in general far below par and expensive for what you get. Compared to the dump we stayed in in Ruteng, Edelweiss was clean, quiet, and across the street from the 2 highest rated restaurants in town, so also well-located. The wifi worked, the staff was friendly and the... More

Bajawa does not have any options for budget backpackers and rooms under 200,000 Rp simply don't exist. Edelweiss, was not just a pretty crappy hotel, but offered absolutely NO value for money. CONS: The staff is dismissive, often simply chatting and joking with their friends in the lobby rather than attending to customers. FAR too many tour guides occupying the... More
