Booked this hotel as all others were fulltime booked. Hotel standards in Bajawa are quite low, hotel Korina is even worse. Dirty, small rooms, no english speaking staff, bad bathroom. So you better make a reservation elsewhere.

The price for the double room was high. The hot shower did not work and the staff was not friendly. The towels where dirty and the room smelled musty. The breakfest was bad and poor. This was the worst stay we had so far surfing out one month journey.

Stayed here as a last resort as all the lonely planet recommended stays were full due to a local gathering of councillors. Opted for a cheap room, but was still not overly cheap. Was clean, but the bathroom was horrible and the room generally very run down. Breakfast was minimal and cold having been left out on the side. One... More

I stayed here for one night while travelling accross flores, the staff were friendly and helpful and although there was a problem with the shower in my initial room they were very accomodating and happy to relocate me to another room. Reasonably good place to stay and i left with no complaints.

I just read all about the bad review about this hotel. I have stayed at this hotel for 3 times and overall there was nothing bad happened (Thanks God). I stay here mostly for office related activity. Actually we cannot put a higher standar for small hotel like this one. Of course the amenities cannot be compared with any other... More

We stayed for 2 nights, on our second night our window was lifted out,( very easy done, as it was not properly set from the outside). The hotel staff turned very nasty when we called them. Also no help at the police station, appears police chief and hotel owner knows each other! So basically , from the outside walkway ,... More

Simple place. Try to negotiate down the price they will ask. breakfast not great, one egg and a piece of bread. no need to book the bus to either Labuan Bajo or Moni with them, just wait outside from around 6.30 am.

As many places in Flores too expensive for what you get. Sheets are not clean neither changed. Bring you own sleeping bag. Location is good and near to the three restaurants in town. Ask them if you want a local guide to do a trekking. It's really worthy.

The Happy Happy and the Eidelweiss were full so this was our only option. The top cover (there isn't a top sheet) was filthy with blood stains and a nasty smell. The mandi which had hot water had a broken cold tap which made showering difficult. It was just all cheap and ugly which I accept but not the filth... More

Pickings are slim in Bawang, but I would definitely avoid Hotel Korina. The room they showed me was 250,000 Rupiah for a hot water room. It was dirty, musty smelling, and had garbage still in it from it’s previous occupier. When I tried to negotiate down the price, they said the room they just showed me was mysteriously not available... More
