We stayed in the new bungalow/rooms that have been built and while they were not finished, we found Moni to be one of the highlights of our trip. The people in this small village are what makes this place special. The view over the rice paddies and the village people just going about their farming life as you sip on... More

Hidayah has two pleasant blocks of rooms (can fit for couples or family) with a view on the nearby rice fields but nothing exceptional (as can suggest some guide books). Rooms are large and clean, and bed comfortable. However we spent only one night there and it was enough. The owner was friendly but tried to sell us his services... More

We chose this Guesthouse because in the Daylight it looked nice with comfy Rattan chairs and tables on the Verandah, clean simple rooms with good beds and the Restaurant next to the rooms. It was inexpensive and seemed ok for one night. Dinner (Nasi Goreng) at the Restaurant was very good but the staff in the Restaurant was more then... More

There are plenty of places to stay in Moni. We did look up accommodation options before we arrived but it seems that only a couple of the really expensive eco-resorts are listed on the internet. When you arrive, just walk up and down the main street and you will find a reasonably priced place that suits you. There are also... More

There are many lodges in Moni where you should base yourself if you plan to have a glimpse of Kelimutu; most of them are typical local houses converted to lodges. Hidayah has 4 bedrooms, each with double bed but as there were 3 of us, the staff quickly set up additional bed. Room was ok and clean. Breakfast is included.... More

We arrived late at night but still knocked on many guesthouses doors for looking at the room. During that traveling time, it was so many constructions around the area, we picked a place that was rather quiet and simple and easy to go on to kelimutu in the morning. This place had different set up than others which had little... More

We stayed only one night in Hidayah Homestay during our trip through Flores. I was not sure what to expect because the reviews on Trip Advisor were very diverse. We arrived quite late from Maumere. The owner apologized right away because he could not shake our hand and could not show us the room because he was repairing a kerosene... More

I arrived to Hidayah late in the evening without a booking, and inititally I wanted just to have a look at this place and compare it with other homestays, but after what I've seen, I decided to stay and not look anymore for other accomodation. I was offered a room for three persons, but was informed that this room is... More

A great choice- large room, comfortable bed, lots of hot water with hosts who are charming and kind and genuinely want you to have a good time. It's certainly not a palace, but at this price it's excellent value. Moni and its surrounds are amazing and well worth the visit.

I was going to Moni with my friends, we haven't made our reservation at any hotels in Moni. Our travel driver seemed only having little knowledge about inns or hotels in Moni. We were going to stay at Bintang or Estevania lodge because we read nice reviews about them. But the driver stopped at Hidayah because he didn't know where's... More
