Nice hotel with friendly staff. Pool and gardens are beautiful - shame they don't clear the rubbish from the beach out front though! The rooms aren't anything special but the grounds definitely make up for it!

We asked for high floor and facing the beach. Nice view. The bed is comfy. The restaurant food is acceptable. Do go to the Fish Market in town if you are adventurous rather than eat at the hotel. We walked about 20-30mins to town. We like to walk, so we walked during daytime and nighttime. Bring a torch if you... More

Large rooms with garden and sea view, nice garden and pool The beach though is disgusting (bottles, cans, plastics, garbage) and the hotel should clean it! This is the only negative point Why do not they remove plastics etc? Otherwise nice staff

I stayed in this hotel as part of a tour of Indonesia with OAT. Flores is very undeveloped and this may be one of the better hotels in the area. My room was comfortable but basic. The staff were courteous and helpful. The pool is very nice but the beach has a lot of trash on it. There is a... More

We went to bintang in Flores for a drink at the beach/pool beds. We didnt stay at the hotel. We checked the menu and most of the drinks (juices and mocktails (non alcohol)) weren't available. We ordered a banana juice (nothing special and european prices). It seemed quiet Nice out there until the wind blew our drink of the table.... More

We stayed here for one night as our Trans Nusa flight was cancelled and they put us up in this hotel. We were really impressed - a beautiful, immaculate hotel, with friendly and helpful staff and wonderful gardens. The rooms were huge, with fridge, a/c, safe, tv, and lovely bathroom. There is a lovely swimming pool, with loungers, and a... More

Spent two nights here whilst visiting the Komodo islands. (I wish we had done this trip by boat instead to avoid staying here, but trail finders did not give us this option). The hotel has self imposed grandeur which it does not merit. Our room which was supposed to be deluxe had a very poor bathroom, no balcony and no... More

The difficult part in rating anything is do you compare it with everyplace you have experienced or do you rate it to what's available in the area. The BF is a new hotel with quite nicely kept grounds. Nice view of the beach, good pool, nice size rooms. The service is accommodating. The restaurant is quite limited for dinner. Breakfast... More

Stayed here on my first trip to Flores. Also stayed in other Lab Bajo hotels of quite the similar facilities/rate. But to my opinion, BF hotel is much better. The most beautiful-looking swimming pool so far, not quite exposed to the restaurant or other hotel areas. The room is spacy but not too enormous if you are a sole guest.... More
