We stayed here for 4 days because the government of Padang invited us for a dragon boat tournament. Rooms were average but clean. Staff were also very friendly but some can't speak basic English. Breakfast served was a great one, a lot of choices. Wifi is terrible bad.

So, when you are in Padang, there's basically two places you should stay, either the Mercure or this place. I guess it depends on what you like. A very nice Hotel in Padang. Was a Best Western Premier, but then they changed it and operated it on their own. The furnishing quality still very very good. The room was real nice. Probably still the best furnished hotel in Padang.
