Room is smelly Aircon isn't working till 3am then working for few hours a day only. Toiletries are low quality. In room wifi isn't working. Hot water occasionally not working. Mattress too soft. Pillows too huge and high (uncomfortable). Breakfast more to local foods and limitation.

The hotel is old, and when I mean old, I mean is falling apart. Hotel fixtures are ridiculous. It seems it was build in the 1950 and since then it has never been renovated. Dirty, dirty, dirty as many hotel and places in Indonesia, but this is on the worst side. Smoke smell everywhere. Swimming pool, for me, unusable, just... More

I last stayed at this hotel shortly after the 2009 Padang earthquake. Most of the cracks in the building have now been plastered over and painted. The seaview rooms have a nice view of the pool and ocean, and a view of the decrepit roof of the restaurant and miscellaneous aircon machinery. The bedrooms are tired, bathrooms need removal of... We arrived here after a boat trip from the Mentawai Surf Resort. We were checked into a day use room. The room rate included a very average breakfast buffet, warm milk, no pastries, most of the hot food had been sitting for some time, coffee was cold. The staff were helpful, the room was clean. The beach was very close... More

I've enjoyed the restaurant and sat at the Pangeran Hotel with friendly staff and delicious juice and the fries were nice and crispy. cozy atmosphere of the restaurant makes comfortable to sit longer. and I had a delicious hot cappuccino.

Stayed for almost a week recently for a conference held in the hotel. As a conference destination, the Pangeran Beach is a solid performer, nothing special, but most things you need. While I am happy to recommend looking at the beach, its not a beach where anyone is ever going to safely get wet. I had booked a deluxe room... More

8 of us stayed here one night after a late flight arrival to Padang. Rooms were comfortable and spacious. Beds were comfortable. Although i had a stain at a corner of the pillow, the pillow was big and i could avoid the stain. Beach front location. Breakfast was good and the best out of the 3 hotels we stayed in.

Stayed for three nights. Air conditioner in my room, not work properly, so I freeze in the night. I was placed in second floor, near building conditioner fan, and it was so noisy. The wifi was not work properly, can't even connect to Google. The good think about this hotel, the food quality was great, the room was big, and... More

We flew in from Jakarta to Padang and stayed one night in the hotel. Best I could say is that that the staff were friendly and rooms were comfortable. The food served in the restaurant was of a good quality and very reasonable prices. On the down-side while the hotel had it's own beach at the back with black sand... More
