We preferred this hotel because it's located next to the beach so we planned to spend days on the beach, but too bad the beach was dirty :(. The hotel is very standard, the mattress seemed need to be renewed. They said there was wifi in the room, but very bad connection. The only nice thing, they served good food.

The only 4 star hotel in Padang next to the beach.I stayed there only for a one night, instead of six , because I realised there are better deals in the city. Although, I got a room with a sea view at 6th floor and the breakfast was really good, (mix of local and European food) I wouldn't rate it... More

I stayed here on the recommendation of a friend, but I would have liked it to be a bit closer to something, anything! It backs on to the beach but the beach is a bit dirty to swim in. The pool and gym were quite good, as was the whole beach side courtyard area which was undergoing an upgrade. I... More

Vintage and classy hotel at the heart of Padang city. I stayed 2 nights and wake up with a fantastic mountain view. Never expect this kind of hotel in Padang. Spacious and clean room with fast wifi, nice staff, good food and nice swimming pool. and it is also value for money. Highly recommended.

Though a little bit old, Pangeran Beach Hotel still has what it takes to be a four star hotel in Padang. Room was quite comfort, had large pool, and just a stone-throw away from the beach. Breakfast was also nice, with the helpful waiters.

I stayed at this hotel for three nights and found it quiet and peaceful; perfect if you need to get away. However, the wifi was not strong in my room and I was not able to connect to the Internet most times. The room was big, clean and comfortable but rather old. I found the air conditioning too cold and... More

I stayed in this hotel for three days. The cheapest room is big enough for two people and one baby. It has nice and clean rooms, good swimming pool, yummy breakfast with plenty of choices. Good wifi, beautiful view of Padang beach, most of the staffs were nice although some of them need to teach how to smile more. Overall,... More

Room is smelly Aircon isn't working till 3am then working for few hours a day only. Toiletries are low quality. In room wifi isn't working. Hot water occasionally not working. Mattress too soft. Pillows too huge and high (uncomfortable). Breakfast more to local foods and limitation.

The hotel is old, and when I mean old, I mean is falling apart. Hotel fixtures are ridiculous. It seems it was build in the 1950 and since then it has never been renovated. Dirty, dirty, dirty as many hotel and places in Indonesia, but this is on the worst side. Smoke smell everywhere. Swimming pool, for me, unusable, just... More

I last stayed at this hotel shortly after the 2009 Padang earthquake. Most of the cracks in the building have now been plastered over and painted. The seaview rooms have a nice view of the pool and ocean, and a view of the decrepit roof of the restaurant and miscellaneous aircon machinery. The bedrooms are tired, bathrooms need removal of...
