Room not fully clean (found bottle next to bin) and huge bed pillows. Very expensive drinks, beer for 75000 rp. Full of noise and guests because of hosting a wedding party, therefore not possible to swim. Found some solution with hotel, but its not nice. Airco didnt function well.... As you see, im not that satisfied overall. But also some... More

GOOD: Nice room arrangement with nice carpet, beautiful sea and sunset view. Bathroom was very good and spacious. Very good artificial lighting. Big balcony. BAD: Cleanness could be better in the room. One of the coffee cup in the room was not washed from the previous client. The hallway was very dirty. Door on the balcony was difficult to open/close.... As the name, the location of this hotel is on the beach, with direct access to beach and the swimming pool near. for beach lover the location is wonderful you may seat on the beach from the hotel area and wait for the sunset. the food is average, some of the room had been renovated. Easy to find food around... More

Stayed at this hotel on a photographic trip, Pangeran Beach Hotel being one of the few decent hotels in Padang. It felt old and in need of renovation, but served it's purpose. The location was ok being close to the beach and the city and food, breakfast was alright but nothing special. Probably I will search for other more modern... More

Renovated legendary hotel in the central of Padang. Big lobby, coffee-shop, swimming pool. Variety of food, especially national, traditional Minang, snacks (lupis, jenang kampiun). The staff are helpful. Free wifi. Big convention room with some discussion rooms. In the main road of the city. 40 min to the Minangkabau Airport. Weakness: as renovated, the technology of elevator, components in bathroom... More

This used to be a nice hotel near the beach. Seems to be dated and needs renovation...especially with newer hotels coming up in the city. My room was spacious and the hotel could have the room ready for an early check-in and that was good. Breakfast options were acceptable.
