Madani Hotel is a good place for you to stay and take a rest. Don't expect a luxury room, the hotel room is simple and looks old but its comfort for me. The plus point is, the hotel staff is friendly. In front of the hotel is a great mosque, for moslem you can walk across the street to pray.... More

Room interior was outdated, our room smelt like cigarettes despite staying on "non-smoking" floor. Bathroom was not kept well at all. It was on a weekend and there was some sort of live band right beside the hotel - VERY noisy and kept us up late. We changed to another hotel after a night.

Stay there after my friend forget to book garuda plaza, arrive late evening and the hotel itself quite crowded but the check in process was smooth.Location wise is okay, near mosque and one shopping complex and one food court just behind the hotel with live band. Elevator/lift is small and the room are average .The shower pressure is way way... More

stayed there in January 2014. the accommodation was so far the best i have in medan. the location is next to a mall and food court. as for the service, it was great but that was mainly because the staff there can speak better english and understand malay better than when i stayed in berastagi and danau toba. as for... Stayed for a night only for the location adjacent to lots of food establishments. MacDonald on the front and a food court on the back. Loads of halal food around too for the muslims. The room however is a bit old and need of clean up here and there. The carpet and towel had stains. Having a small cloth for... More

The location is not bad as located opposite a mall, Masjid Raya & there's a food court that have variety of halal food behind the hotel. Go for deluxe room-Masjid Raya.view. The room is not that clean. I sneeze a lot as I believe the room is very dusty. Found leftover nuts..hairs on the carpet...the bed sheet stained, the wall... More

Madani Hotel is one of the most-known hotels in Medan. Located in the heart of the city, its longstanding popularity is well deserved. When you first arrive at the hotel, the sight of the lobby's grandeur is something to behold. The architecture makes it stand out among other hotels I've visited. There is also a small convenience store right next... More

Stayed for 3 nights for international conference at Universitas Muhammadiyyah Sumatera Utara (UMSU). Overall hotel is good with strategic location. At the heart of metropolitan Medan. The restaurant also good with local dishes. Room also excellent. Value for your money. This hotel can be considered as Shariah-compliant hotel although not fulfill all the requirments to be Shariah-compliant hotel. Hope in... More

This hotel was just plain depressing. The guest rooms did not live up to the promise of the grand lobby and sharp looking bellmen in colorful uniforms. The walls and worn, patched carpets were stained and the white duvet cover looked faintly grey, though thank heavens the actual sheet was snowy white. The shower was pretty bad, with mold on... More
