Very clean, cosy, fully furnished luxury room. Big tv, big bath tub, big bathroom. Soft bed. Friendly and helpful staffs always greet guests with smile in polite manner. The breakfast is fresh, rich and tasty. You find yourself much pampered by the servie of the hotel. more
This new hotel offers great bedrooms with bird-eye view over Medan. TV programmes are limited (contrary to what room documentation claims) but picture is clear. Lovely hotel. My wife and and our baby visited Medan to see her family and we stayed for 9 nights in this hotel. Only those that have experienced a crosstown trip in the traffic of Medan could truly appreciate the constant feeling tof the imminence of a major crash. Hot,dusty,smelly. I will admit - when I saw the rate I thought there had to be a catch. I have stayed at Marriott hotels before and normally the rate is much higher. Absolutely wonderful. Rooms are clean & bathrooms are beautiful. The gym is one of the best I've seen in all my travels. The swimming pool is clean & inviting with lovely cabanas on the terrace. The first impression of this hotel is that we have never stayed anywhere so paranoid about security - half-a-dozen security men crawled all over our car before we were permitted to approach the front door, and then our bags were put through a baggage scanner whilst we filed through a knife arch before we were allowed to enter the hotel.... more
