This was my 1st time staying in this hotel as what I was looking for was value for money. The hotel is situated along the main road leading to Medan town. The railway station which is link directly to the Kuala Namu airport is about 15 mins cab ride from the hotel. There is a food centre near the hotels... More

I have stayed in this hotel a number of times over the years. I have finally reached my limits with them. The rooms look NOTHING like what they advertise them to be. The funny thing is, they make you think you are getting a deal with "there is a Rp 2.000.000 discount on this room." They have had that "discount"... More

nice oldish hotel, booked their special offer which included a buffet dinner about 55usd for 2. gym is fantastic so if you need a place to train book this hotel. pool nice. rooms were also well furnished but agree with other reviews a little tired. its quite far from anything although a 15min walk to a mall, take a right... Rooms are good size but decor is old and quite dirty. Toilet was poor of clean Breakfast menu was limited but the taste was fairly nice. Security was excellent. Transportation is available anytime with bechak men and taksi drivers outside the hotel ready to serve you. The staffs are helpful and always smile.

This hotel was certainly comfortable, albeit a bit pricey for the standard. The room was clean and the bed and hot water worth the price ... however ... That is where the positives end. Unfortunately, they charged like a wounded bull for anything not covered by the booking. Even a small bottle of water was $3 US and the cafe... More

My wife and I stayed at Polonia hotel on first week of October. The room/toliet and mini bar cabinet was infested with cockroach(small), the air con was set at 15 degrees but it was too warm to sleep, tried setting the termostate but did not work. Spoke to duty manager and wrote in a complain to general manager. I am... More

I think the hotel is divided into 2 parts - the newly renovated and the old section. I was unfortunate to get the old section. The room was clean and everything is provided. But it looked tired and unwelcoming. The bathroom is so narrow and small. However, having said that, the shower's water pressure is great! The hotel staff were... More

This was a welcome break from our $10-20 guesthouses when we had to spend a night in Medan before flying to Java. We paid 50.000 RP (about $50) for a Deluxe room with a king sized, A/C, hot water, towels, western toilet. Included in the price were vouchers for dinner and breakfast at the hotel, as well as free airport... More

We stayed there for one night before taking an early plane and will not go back there, even for the same short period of time. We had been given a "suite", with a room with sofas between the bath and bedroom. However the smell was very bad inside. It reeked of very old incrusted smoke everywhere. The bathroom was old,... The hotel is so convenient as it is strategically located near the airport and mall. I love the steamboat so much. I also tried the oxtail soup, lamb curry and its fried banana and definitely love those too. Fyi, i stayed at the club floor which is newly renovated. Last but not least they just renovated the swimming pool with... More
