the bathroom covered with mold. rooms are not that good. foods are bad. the swimming pool is dirty. the chairs at conference hall aren't comfortable. and the price is very high, with this kind of price u can get better hotel around that area. the only good things about this hotel is the air around them.

We booked this place because there was no other option on New Years Eve. The hotel looks nice from the outside but the rooms are just awful. Dirty, not well maintained at all. Moulds in the bathroom. The staff there were really nice and helpful though. Not recommended unless there is absolutely no other place to stay in Bukittinggi

This is possibly the worst hotel I've stayed in in 25 years of travelling. Firstly , the rooms are filthy. My non smoking room smelled like an ashtray. The floor boards were rotten and popping out, the bathroom was covered in Mold and rust, there were huge cracks in the walls and the sheets smelled. On top of that, there... More

When we first arrived we thought the reception area was fine until I sat at the sofa and there was a stench of urine! Yuck! Our room was on the 2nd floor and as we came in we thought, okay.. this looked like the hotels in Indonesian back in the 80s. Vintage I thought until i saw the bathroom! The... More

Everything was good at the first sight, they have a nice homy building, a nice place which is pretty quiet and a perfect weather for a place to stay. But all of those are instantly gone after all of poor front desks services, poor quality of hotel room. Beds are terrible, they dont seem like a place to sleep after... More

Overally its quite a nice hotel , compare to most hotel at Bukittinggi. Was arrived here at September '12, i were quite astounded by the view the hotel gave us. There is a few thing that actually that makes us need to rethink in case that we need to stay at pusako again. first thing is as david says, the... More

When we first arrived in this hotel (planning for 3 nights), everything seemed ok : the lobby, the restaurant, albeit it seemed a little gloomy. First bad impression was when no one helped us to bring our luggage, that is very surprising for an Indonesian 4 star hotel (or even less stars)... When we saw how dark the corridors were,... More

Very nice hotel, especially compared to most other hotels on Sumatra. WiFi in reception hall, restaurant was fine but swimming pool horrible with water more resembling soup than water. We did not take a dive here. Too bad, because rest of the hotel was really good.

We stayed for 2 days in this Hotel recently this June 2011. We were told that the Hotel was a 4 star hotel. But i can give the rating for 2* only. The room was damp. A lot of cracks can be seen. The walls at the room is like yellowish in colour. AND THE WORST IS THE TOILET. IT... More

Basic hygiene and cleanliness are very poor, had to ask for change of room as the first one was so deplorable, the substitute was only slightly better. My tour guy explained that the hotel had its heyday 15 years ago when it was still managed by Sol Melia. It has been managed by the owner in the past 10 years... More
