it is always risky to go back to a place you liked. It could have gotten much better in your memory after all and be a disappointment once back. Not so Gangga Island Resort and Spa in Indonesia. I have absolutely no idea what I would see improved. The food is excellent. Every day for lunch and dinner choice of... More

We went to Gangga after a Raja Ampart live aboard. we felt since we where already in the area this would be a great extension. The bungalow was excellent and located right on the beach. The food was 5 course with stand over the table service. As divers this dining arrangement is not the norm but ok. Don't be in a... More

The bungalows are very comfortable and clean and all the staff extremely friendly and helpful. Each bungalow has their own sunbeds and a shaded platform at the beach. For lunch and dinner you can choose from a daily changing short menu and it was always excellent and plentiful. The diving was great and the guides know their work......

I spent three nights at Gangga Island Resort & Spa May 16-19. Main purpose of my trip was diving. I stayed in bungalow 10-B, which is a 250 to 300 meter walk from the resort's main building (open air with fans) which has reception area and restaurant. It's a hike, and at night it's easy to get a bit lost... More

This was my second visit to Gangga Island Resort. I was last there in October, 2009. In the interim, the bungalow rooms have been completely renovated and are much improved. They are first class. The rooms a quite spacious with adequate lighting, electrical outlets, A/C, ceiling fan, mini-bar. The bathrooms are large with big, walk-in showers. Each bungalow has a... More

From Manado Airport with luxe car to the North in 1h20 and than 30 min by speed boot of the resort to the Island. You'll see my pictures and understand what I mean with beautiful resort, really relax and excellent dives. It was the second time that we were there and certainly not the last time. We spent the last week of our three week holiday in Gangga Island Resort and after two fabulous weeks on the mainland there was always the chance of being disappointed. However that was not the case at all. The bungalows are very comfortable and clean and all the staff extremely friendly and helpful. Each bungalow has their own sunbeds and... More

Stayed through Christmas into the New Year and while there for a longer period than most guests - it felt just about. There's little else on the island besides the resort and 2 local villages but we never felt bored or cut off. Set on an idyllic beach - it's picture postcard perfect with sweet huts where you're right on... More

Stayed at the Gangga Island Resort & Spa from the 25 to 29 of december, and enjoyed every minute of it. Laying on the beach, with beautiful surroundings the hotel was like paradise. Both the possibilities with scuba diving and snorkeling was used, and was a success. The guides at the Padi diving center were experienced, and showed us many... More
