And the staffs also, they're friendly and ready to help you. The hotel is very old, it was once the most famous hotel back in the New Order era, but now you can easily find newer and better hotel. The room was okay, at least the AC worked, even though the room kinda smelt damp. The breakfast was also okay,... More

Although in a prime location on the sea front, it is hard to recommend this hotel. I had reserved a "De Luxe Sea View Room". Bizarrrely despite being next to the sea there are few rooms facing the sea and most if not all suffer as did mine form having the view totally obscured by 4 dense palm trees -... More

We stayed here for 4 nights but should have had the sense to move elsewhere after viewing our room. The 'deluxe' room was absolutely filthy, paint peeling from the walls, blue/green mold everywhere, air conditioner not working and a bar fridge (un-stocked) that you could grow mushrooms in it was so filthy and unclean! This was NOT a four star... More

The hotel is located at the city centre, sea view and closed to souvenir shop. Just few minute walk to have a local food, you can walk around the sea side during morning & evening and easy to find local food from hawkers. The room is clean, but the rate is a quite high compare with other hotel around.

I spent two nights at this hotel at the end of October 2012. It is a small to medium sized hotel, with a terrace overlooking the harbour where meals are served. Breakfast consisted of a selection of three cereals, juice, teas and coffees and eggs made how you want them (I opted for cheese, ham and mushroom omlette - nice!).... More

i think this is the only hotel in makassar wich located just on the seaside (correct me if i'm wrong). this hotel is an old hotel located. room is spacy and service is good. even the hotel staff allow me to go for fishing on the back of this hotel wich directly facing the sea. room is ok, although need... The hotel is located right on the harbor. Our room was well-appointed and very clean. The staff was all very friendly. There is an outdoor pool and Business Center. Breakfast is included in the price and served on a terrace overlooking the harbor, a lot of variety to choose from. Excellent coffee, maybe the best we had in Sulawesi. Incredible... More

This is one of the oldest hotel in Makassar. For years it has been the top rank hotel in town, hosting most of official events, and politician, actors, and famous people stayed here. The building itself is not big. A small to medium size hotel. The hotel seems have a hard time adjusting to a new age and competition. Talking... More

I stayed for a week for a business trip. I had a room 23 which one side to the pool and the other to the sea. We could see trans studio away and just a little walk to losari and 'kawasan makanan khas makassar'. Room is great, location is worth it.
