Staff was friendly and the cabins were fine and clean. However we thought to book a cabin at a low price but to travel from beach resorts ferry you have to keep in mind to pay S$44 extra for one way. We tried to find a cheaper taxi but it was impossible and also sharing a taxi was not possible... More

I have stayed here twice. First off, it really isn't the place for anyone who is picky about one thing or another. I've found it to be a quiet place away from the crowds. The mattresses here have been pretty good. The staff was friendly. Casuarina trees provided excellent shade when I wanted to be out on a deck chair... More

Its my 2nd time coming to this hotel because I like this resort very much, what I like about this resort is that its truly a resort that is pretty laid back, quiet, 5 steps to beach, natural surrounding with lots of trees and plants, coffee chair and table, English coffee cups, a lot of privacy. Beautiful decoration by the... More

With 2 small children, the shallow beach was perfect. Staff are friendly. A getaway from the "resort" stereotype. Not servicing rooms or cleaning bins daily not great at all. It piled up outside our room (incl diapers). Just emptying of bins seems a std service? Trickle of water in the showers not good. Bathrooms looking worse for wear (open for... More

We stayed at the Resort for 3 days. We found the staff to be caring, attentive and very friendly. Food was great for us - superb omeletes/sandwiches! Especially since we were vegetarians. Marjoly was everything that it should be - and nothing that it's not meant to be. The staff do their best to accommodate your requirements - you just... More

Looking for a nice and quiet resort with a comfortable room and clean beach? This is the place to go. Not the usual tourist hangout, but straight forward THE place to empty your head and just watch the horizon for hours. The pick up & drop off at the port were great. Thanks Neil for your nice company. Added value... More

In terms of making the booking and the after sales service. This is probably the best I’ve experienced for a long time. My girlfriend left her glasses in the bungalow after we’d departed. Having got in touch with them about this they hand delivered them (by the boss) to her office in Singapore. A huge effort and very much appreciated.... More

Marjoly resort was in a very rural area far away from the beach activities. Although this is what a lot of people look for (a nice getaway that is secluded), we were looking for a little more action. The resort itself had nice bungalows equipped with mosquito nets (though they were damaged and didn't provide much protection) and the main... More

This is the place to come if you want to write a novel without interruption. A beautiful, peaceful resort, close to nature and ideal for a simple, tranquil beach holiday. We travelled from Tanah Merah, Singapore via ferry, and the hotel sent a car to collect us. It was around a 1 hour journey, and cost US$40 for six of... More

It was our second wedding anniversary and we wanted to go somewhere nearby (from Singapore). We decided to visit Marjoly beach resort. We booked a bungalow for 3 nights. (S$ 75 per night) After 2 hours of ferry ride from Singapore (Wavemaster Berlian Ferry) we reached at Tanjung Pinang Jetty at 11:30 am. Jack was ready at the terminal waiting... More
