My extended family, 18 of us, stayed in Blue Mountain Kelong 3D2N last weekends. It was a wonderful and enjoyable holiday for all of us. It provides basic facility. Each room has the attached toilet but does not have hot water though. There are no TV and Wifi, so really pure family bonding time together. Meals wise it has exceeded... More

This is my 3rd visit to Blue Mountain Kelong. Every visit to the nature gives different encounter. One cannot expect the same fish, same food, same weather, same level of water, etc. from the trip. It's nature encounter! You can have squid catch on certain month, but lots of coconut on the other trip. Turtles sightings on one visit or... More

My first stay here at the kelong was about 4 years ago. Then, my daughter had a whale of a time playing with the hermit crabs there. I stayed at the kelong again 2 weeks ago and I must say things are more or less the same as before. I love the laidback feel of the kelong and the friendliness... More

Thanks for your kind review and for returning once again as a guest after your first visit 4 years ago. I'm sorry to hear about the ants on the bed frame and on behalf of the management, I do sincerely apologize for that unfortunate experience. I will certainly look into this matter with the ground staff. I'm glad that you... More

Dodi is still our guide and help and so is Ah Shui our excellent cook. This round we have privilege of Anna who brings us around the mangrove swamp to dig clams. 2 cute little dogs blackie and ' brownie ' hanging around us. A large turtle to view as well as the papaya farm on the island. Though it... More

Thanks for spending your precious time to write this review which is greatly appreciated by all the staff of Blue Mountain Kelong. I'm glad that your family had enjoyed themselves during their time there despite the basic accommodation and facilities. We stayed for 3d2n with our children aged 5&8yrs old, which was just perfect to enjoy and appreciate the wonderful nature. Everyday we have great seafood, poultry, fresh grown vege and fruits, cooked by chief Ah Shui who is really friendly and more than happy to catch the numerous fish and squid we catch at the kelong. The rooms are... More

My family and a few friends decided to stay at the Blue Mountain Kelong last weekend (21-23 Feb'14) after hearing raving reports about it from my daughter....and indeed it did not disappoint! The resort is located at a small island off Batam. Getting there from Singapore includes an hour's ride by high-speed ferry from Harbourfront to Batam Center Ferry Terminal,... More

Great place to be for peace and relaxation. No tourists, no traffic, no shops, no noise, no jobs! Only peace and calm and the glory of God's creation. Be ready to give up your computers and tv shows. Fresh air and water and brilliant stars. Great sea food. For nature lovers only.

Overall - A very basic and peaceful place to relax, fish, swim in the sea, eat delicious seafood and contemplate life as you listen to the sound of the sea. - Bluemoutain is a remote and secluded kelong (series of traditional wooden stilt houses built over the sea). - Its location means it's hard to get to (about 3 hours...
