This hotel benefits from being probably the best for visitors who wish to visit a nearby vantage point for stunning sunrises and to visit the crater of nearby Mount Bromo; however, this appears to be due largely to the lack of local competition. The hotel's hilltop location is stunning, offering amazing views across steep, terraced hillsides. Its site, at one... More

The rooms are ugly as well as the food. Food and drinks are very expensive, staff is not friendly at all. BUT as it is the only accommodation close to Mt. Bromo you have no other choice because even there you have to get up at 4 a.m. to see Mt. Bromo sun rise. We were there but fog came... More

The rooms are filthy and cold, TV doesn´t work, the food is really terrible and very expensive, we recommend to bring your own for dinner, since there is nothing close buy :( Breakfast is also like in a college canteene. Elevator didn´t work either, but the trip to Mount Bromo is great.

Reception staff is high handed and rude. I book 10 rooms, they gave us rooms with the hot shower was not working, the reception refused to have the rooms changed and blamed us for not checking all the amenities before unpacking. During dinner we ordered extra egg omelette. The waiter send us one plate and informed us that there was... More

Room and facilities very basic. Not clean. Drinks (beer in particular) very expensive! Buffet Breakfast, absolutely dreadful! Flies had landed on all the dishes, sauces, etc. unedible! Good location to mount bromo but that's about it... Hotel part of Kuoni holiday package. I'll be letting them know how awful this place is too. Never again!

Was expecting the worst after reading the reviews and from my personal experience at Manohara at Borobodur (both kinda in the middle of nowhere with not so good infrastructure). Was moderately surprised with my stay. - There are a few new buildings on 7th and 8th levels. The suites on level 8 look quite attractive on the outside, of course... More

I read so many bad reviews about it so i was scared when we arrived there. First of all, you stay in this hotel few hours before going to bromo that actually it is not so important how fancy it is! Anway, they are doing some work to improve the hotel. Rooms are simple but clean, dinner is ok, nothing... More

Even though only for one night we were glad we could leave this place. It was dirty, a third bed for our 16-year-old son was a filthy mattress, all kinds of insects in the "bathroom" (this is just a nice expression for a place I bet you never want to see). I put a sweater over my pillow and wore... More

I just stayed here a little while ago, rented a cottage. Had no problem with the hygiene and bed, but the room facility was very minimum (like don't provide) hot water pot, tooth brush, etc. Price a too high for anyone who just want spend a night. The hotel provide mt. Bromo tour service with competitive price, so travellers don't... More

First of all, it's really hard to find any consistently good reviews of accommodation options at Mount Bromo itself. This place is beautifully located up in the mountains at about 1700m (we were told). The view right outside all the rooms are the valleys and slopes of the mountains, but you're at cloud level so you may not always be... More
