3 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 days ago NEW

It was an office outing with about 600 people. Room was okay. We stayed in 8207. New building. Rooms numbers 1xxx - 4xxx were old buildings, but the rooms are larger compared to the new ones. Complementary water bottles in the room were small sized bottles. Room was too dark. Scramble egg (breakfast) was good. The hospitality of Solo people... More

The hall area and common spaces are nice, but you can see throughout the whole structure that this structure needs to be renovated. Overall we had a nice stay: the room are spacious and there is a beautiful garden. Our sheets were not perfectly clean and the room has a strange smell, but we where able to solve the problem... Firstly, i know this is a five star resort, but from my experience, it didn't look that way first of all, my family stayed here for 4 days and 3 nights, we were having our holiday throughout solo and yogyakarta. from what i can see, this particular room we stayed in was supposed to be the very best, which is... Positives- staff, comfy bed, pool, grounds. Good breakfast spread. Negatives- noise from plumbing, ac unit outside, mosque (obv not hotels fault!), noisy people in corridor who got up early to pray. Got 3 hours sleep- to be fair they changed my room and it watch better. The ac was weak and the wifi didn't work.

The hotel located between airport and Solo Business center. It has beautiful and spacious garden and this is excellent place for outdoor activity during a big group trip. Nice breakfast buffet with lot of choices. Some of the room's facility like shower, and AC are need replacement. I arrived in the hotel after some long trip with big group. Apparently... More

I have not stayed here but I used their pool several times and ate there my last visit to solo. The gardens and pool are really lovely and well kept, and worth visiting and using. You can use the pool for a reasonable fee of 50,000 rupiahs. Its surrounded by trees plants flowers and birds and butterflies a real oasis... More

I am astonished at the bad reviews this hotel has gotten on Travel Advisors. We were a group of travel agents who spent a night and had nothing but praise! I am wondering if I am reviewing the same place! We found a very pleasing hotel, located between the business center and the airport. The large "estate" is grand. We... More

Stayed at this property for 1 night but have mixed feelings about the place. They claim to be a 5star property but I have seen 3star hotels which are much better. We were put up in the 'new' wing called Lorin Residences which is located among a group of private row villas a fair distance behind the main Lorin Resort.... More

I was here 15 years ago and was very impressed withy the hotel that was ex Sheraton. Been to Solo so many times over the past years but never returned here. Since tripadvisor time, I could read that many guests were disappointed with the run down facilities. But it was still rated to be number 6 to 8 in the... More
