The Istana Griya 2 really is located in the middle of everything in downtown Solo. The room was nice enough though the bathroom needed some freshening up. The breakfast was okay but small. One of the people at the desk was helpful with answering our questions but the others were not. On our final morning as we tried to sleep... More

The strategically located hotel has nicely furnished room; good service, including room cleaning ; convenient location. The only disadvantages are the limited breakfast (omelette with nasi goreng) and a weak Wi-Fi signal.

I stayed here for 2 days. Located in the city center. Easy to find food. The hotel itself is pretty clean. The hospitality is great. Tea and coffee are available all day. Breakfast is served at 7am directly to your room. Bit annoying if you want to have extra nap. Anyway you have choice for not having breakfast and do... More

Room is very clean. Breakfast is just a simple local dish but quite delicious. Hot drinks are available 24 hours daily. i concur with the other comments... More

I was here for 6 days and the stay was enjoyable. The Wifi really only worked in the lobby area as it was very weak in the room, and faded in and out. There was no english speaking channels on the TV, but since i was in Indonesia, that was to be expected. Would have been nice however. :-) They... More

After our horrid experience at The Trio Hotel, this place ,where we have actually stayed before, was a reliable, clean friendly face. The staff are lovely, even when we woke them up to claim refugee status. The room are very, very clean, modern and with hot showers. It isn't in a beautiful Joglo or anything but it is in a... More
