Santika Hotels are a domestic hotel chain. They specialize in 3 or 4 star hotels. In Semarang they have two properties, the 3 star "Santika" and the 4 star Graha Santika. This is a review of the Graha Santika.

This has always been a reliable place to stay in Semarang and recently the hotel has been renovated. Rooms are now decorated in a clean modern style and are very comfortable.

The hotel is located a short distance from the Simpang Lima circle and is close to everything. While the location is good, Semarang is a hot place and walking is not recommended. There are plenty of metered taxis around and the concierge is very helpful.

Like many Indonesian hotels the Graha Santika includes a free buffet breakfast in your room rate. Breakfast was quite good and the selection was roughly 50% local food and 50% western food.
