I didn't understand why my colleagues pick this hotel as our meeting point. I guess the other hotel were fully booked and this one was our only choice. Anyway, The hotel looks old and rundown. The meeting room (Papandayan 2) is terrible. The Air-Con wasn't working and left us suffocated inside. And when I need to print my presentation, there... More

Unfortunately this was the 5th hotel we were checking that night, all others were fully booked. One room available which we took. The interior is old, dirty, falling apart and the bathroom was far from clean. This hotel is very overpriced. The only good part was the breakfast! After one night we went to another hotel (santika) which was a... More

This hotel is really average. I really did not enjoy my stay and probably would have been better pitching a tent in the main street. The traffic noise was phenomenal! The TV didn't work properly so I couldn't even turn that on to drown out the noise. The shower basically didn't work and toilet flushed with rusty water. There were... More

Indonesia is more a follower than a leader in international trends. As an island nation, it is separated from even its South-East Asian neighbours, and it is much more traditional and less cosmopolitan than Malaysia or Thailand. Having said that, things are developing a little more quickly than they used to, and a more contemporary and international style can be... More

The first question I got when we arrived at the front desk of Pangrango 2 was "do you want to check in...? We got a room at the first floor, it was very spacious, king size bed, a set of sofa, wide windows and a door connecting to a terrace with a lot of plants. Soon we realized that the... More

Stayed in a suite on the top floor of the Pangrango 2 Hotel. Very central and an excellent standard. Unfortunately we were not informed that it was an alcohol free hotel and a major booboo was that my daughter and I went down to the restaurant/bar having travelling since 8.00am from Perth/Bali/Jakarta and finally arriving at about 5pm after spending...
