If this place ever looms up on your Indonesian itinerary, take my advice - stay home! I arrived in the middle of the night to find an interesting party still proceeding in nearby rooms, and in my own room... where shall I start? I dont expect to find a world class accomodation in Bandung. Grand Aquilla is impressive enough. The room was clean and comfy. Eventhough the lobby,swimming pool,etc was relatively small. Location is not far from the main shopping area, highly recommended. Simply, this is among the top choice of hotels that id like to stay in upon visit to bandung. more

The 5* claim is totally spurious. My room had several iron burns on the floor - but no iron (or hair-dryer for that matter) - and the hotel can't even be bothered covering them with a rug. One bedside light and bathroom plug were not working but requests for repair were simply ignored. No gym but extra charges for internet... more
