We have just stayed here for 3 nights and had a lovely time. Beautiful gardens, great breakfast and lovely staff. The location is great, being just down the road from the monkey forest, near to the town, but far enough away for it to be quiet. Would thoroughly recommend for a budget traveler wanting tranquil surroundings.

Nice family hotel in a Quiet part of ubud. Several good restaurants nearby. Distance to monkey Forrest less then five minutes, to ubud centre maybe ten minutes. Big rooms with own veranda, fridge, nice pool in the garden. Breakfast is fresh juice or fruitsalad, coffee/tea and choice of omelet, pancakes, sandwich, noodles, fried rice. Takes a while but you sit... More

These cottages are ideally located just outside the hustle and bustle of Ubud centre. It's only a 5 minutes walk (past the monkey forest) to reach the shops. Service is good, they make the beds daily and provide towels daily as well. Swimming pool is good. Restaurants can be found just outside the compound. We'd highly recommend Chili Cafe, at... More

I stayed here for 6 nights in July. The location is ideal and the centre of Ubud is easily accessed by a track that borders Monkey Farm. We were given welcome juice on our arrival and through -out our stay we found the staff to be very warm and helpful. Breakfast is typical Indonesian hotel/guest-house fare - juices, coffee, fruit,... A cheap, lovely little hotel a short walk to monkey forest and ubud cbd. Rooms were unauthodox, with outdoor toilets and large padlocks as door keys, but this gave the place a unique feel to it. The local blokes (employees) sitting at the front of the hotel are fun to chat to, one of few people I met in Bali... More

stayed here as a group of friends, originally booked for 4 nights and ended up leaving after 1. The bedroom was clean , however the whole place needs serious refurbishments done. The outdoor bathroom is tired and looks dirty, the light switches were black with dirt. The pool was unusable and had suspicious looking cloudy patches and all the chairs... More

Arrived late in the evening and was a bit worried about the cave-ish smell and also the rather massive ant infestation in the bungalow. We asked for a new house and was upgraded without problems, a slight fee was charged tho. The hotel has a lot of charme but needs a shine-up.

It's set in a nice spot the other side of the monkey forest around a 10 walk to Ubud. Rooms are traditional, spacious and have a lovely balcony or terrace. Bathrooms are a bit old and a little grubby but otherwise I found the place charming and staff friendly. There's a small pool and nice communal area

First of all - you get what you pay for. For $40 CDN a night (including breakfast, free wifi, A/C) I found this place to be of excellent value! Our room was spacious with a large balcony. Fan and air con. Shower and bathtub. Mini fridge and closet. Cleaned everyday and done up with fresh flowers. The location is good.... More

We stayed here for a couple of nights and found it ideal. The room was spacious and clean over two levels with a basic kitchen and living area downstairs. The upstairs balcony would be unsafe for children but was fine for us. Big comfortable bed. The bathroom was also big, no shower curtain as has been mentioned in previous reviews... More
