We staid here for 1 night and it was great, has all you need a bed, pool and AC. The staff were friendly and helpful. If you are looking for frills this is not the place, I would stay here again! The beds are clean and rooms are lockable. If you are just going for a night or two i... More

We spent 7 days in Ubud, and our villa at Abangan Bungalow made exploring the city an easy and wonderful experience. The location is great -- right off Jl. Raya Ubud, so most of the city is an easy walk away. You are in fact directly across a small stream from a large and lovely temple that has dance performances... More

This place would have been amazing 10 years ago. The staff are lovely and the gardens are amazing. If the owners put some money into renovating the bungalows including fresh white paint, new big tiles in the bathroom, insulating the roof and making sure the building is sealed so the air conditioning doesn't escape, this place would be perfect and... A lovely little laid back little property, very family like. Remember, this is Bali, be patient, relax and enjoy yourself. This property is not a 5 star all inclusive, it is a little folksy place. The bungalows are quaint but clean. The service is out of this world. Your breakfast is delivered to your porch and the staff member will... More

Greeted by an empty dirty lobby, after shouting hello to get attention of staff, a member of staff who did not speak English attempted to find our booking (with difficulty) Finally led to room, a hut which could be charming but was run down and boiling. Very dark, dank Toliet with no shower. Beds poor quality, air con didn't work very... More

I was planning on staying here for only two days when I first arrived in Bali and ended up staying for a week. The bungalows are right on the edge of the center of town, with a three minute walk to the market. The clean and spacious rooms are perfect for the price. Air con works great for the hot... More

Staff are very nice and kind, good breakfast cossy rooms. Awesome swiming pool. Showers were cold a bit, but only in the fan rooms. Very peaceful. A great cheap very good restaurant, when you exit the street, on th left side ..called "Borneo 8".

After seeing all the bad reviews I was a bit worried about staying a all week in this hotel. Turns out it was GREAT ! The staff is really nice and extremely friendly. The breakfast is served in the room every morning (4 différents options for the breakfast), the pool is big and clean, the hotel is well situated (right... More

This hotel/hostel should only be stayed in by seasoned travellers, there's no point staying here and paying $20 a night if your expecting 6 star accommodation. It's central to Ubud and it's a roof over your head. As far as getting what you pay for this is the bees knees. Don't expect a whole lot, but your not paying a... More

I moved hotels after seeing the very poor condition of the rooms. This hotel did not feel clean, and was not in good repair. Broken doors (literally 1/3 missing on bathroom door) and cheap furnishings. Foam mattresses over wood frame. Aircon not efficient, absolutely ancient machine. Dark, creepy, dirty, no locks on the doors. Didn't see the pool. Extremely cheap... More
