Fantastic garden and massive swimming pool and in the centre of Ubud on monkey forest road mean this place should be really really good. Sadly the very pushy staff trying to sell their trips and taxi services constantly make the stay a bit uncomfortable. One morning I was not even allowed to eat my breakfast without one of the staff... More

There simply is not a better place for the money. Sensational, peaceful garden. A true oasis from the traffic and outside noise. Warm friendly staff, excellent well-priced food and a welcoming pool. Rooms are pleasant with good air-con. Bathrooms are not fancy, but more than adequate. We've returned many times and sent many friends. EVERYONE in our group of 17.... More

We actually transferred from an other hotel where we were not very comfortable to the Ubud Inn. I made a reservation via booking.com. We checked into the Superior room (ground floor with terrace, pool view) for 55 US per night. A good deal compared to the website rate of 100 US but still too expensive for what you get. The... Nothing fancy, but facilities are clean and all one needs to be comfortable. Staff is outstanding--friendly and helpful. The physical compound is beautiful with tropical floral plantings, palms, hibiscus and frangipane. Lily pads and frog ponds abound. The location is rather central and quite handy. Monkey forest is nearby as are a plethora of lovely massage spas that I suggest... More

I know this place from my friend. He show me the bat. I love it that's why I come here. They said they don't have facial tissue for $60 room so I have to use toilet tissue when I sneeze. The pool is also nice. A bit overpriced for a very basic room. No hair dryer. Just fridge, TV and... More

Half way up Monkey Forest Road, the Ubud Inn and Spa is very centrally located and makes a good location if you are looking for a quiet spot in the middle of a bustling area. The rooms are large and ceilings high, but there are no fans, and the air con while set on '16' actually doesn't get down to... More

The hotel is overpriced for room, food and service. Water glass in the room is dirty. Pool is not clean too. Plus additional information for Indonesian tourist: they serve breakfast to foreigners first.

We've just spent a lovely week at the Ubud Inn - a perfect choice if you want a no-frills but a friendly and fun experience. Our rooms were fairly basic, but the air conditioning worked well, the rooms were clean and the beds comfy. Breakfast in the outdoor dining area was always a chance to chat to other guests and...
