Myself and my husband stayed here recently on our first trip to Bali. All I can say is this was the best hotel we stayed at during our visit. We stayed at 5 different hotels and this was amongst the cheapest but certainly the best! The staff were so friendly and helpful and the rooms were immaculate. All I can... more

I was lucky enough to enjoy 3 days here in October. I cannot recommend it enough. The place is spotlessly clean, the food is delicious, and most of all, the staff make you feel at home. Wake up next to a rice paddy, swim some laps in the salt water pool, then enjoy your banana pancakes. The day cannot start... more

We were more then happy with Greenfields. We stayed in one the new rooms. Even though it wasn't quite finished it was large and very clean which fantastic views over the paddy fields. Staff would always go above and beyond. We were very lucky to be staying there when they had finished the new restaurant and had the traditional ceremony... more

Our family just returned from a glorious 11-day stay at Green Field. We booked the hotel based on Tripadvisor reviews, and we definitely were not disappointed. The room we stayed in is part of their new wing. It was spacious enough to hold 4 people comfortably. The room has a king bed and day bed, and the staff brought in... more

We stayed in Bale Agung,2nd floor, fantastic view to the rice fileds. Very quiet, not disturbed by any sounds from neighboring guests Loved the big terracce there, although a sunbed/daybed there could have been a better choice than the Japanese style table Fantastic bathtub - however it took ages to fill it. Missed a separate shower - as the shower... more

We stayed for three nights in November and everything was to our expectation - which can be rare in Bali as any seasoned traveller would tell you! The breakfast was pleasant and everything is fresh! The service is really good and the staff are all very friendly! We stayed in Bail Bajang upstairs and the views and bird life really... more

- We stayed at the new bangalows. The view overlooking the Padi fields was nice...size of the room is good...but the arrangement of the room was not that great. Hard wooden furnitures...closet that are not user friendly and awkward design. Queen size bed wasnt too comfortable. - Decent size bathroom, but the shower area has no shower screen nor is... more

We stayed for two nights in Ubud, which in my view, is an appropriate length. It is nice to stroll around Ubud, but still, it is not large. The resort was great. We were first and foremost impressed by the value you get for your money at this hotel. We stayed in the Bale Wangsuh, which was very nice, great... more

Woke up at 6am in Bale Anggerik, Green Field, grabbed my D40 and walked outside to the front garden. The sky is at its finest shade, deep sapphire. Birds chirping and cool, morning breeze brushed over my face. Now thats paradise. As I walked out along the paddy fields area, I noticed the reception area of the next door lodging... more

The views of the rice fields from the rooms are stellar. The staff is lovely. The pool is fine but nothing spectacular. The rooms are quite lovely if you're into the traditional Balinese look. But I've got to say that given the wide array of options in Ubud, I found the place a bit overpriced and perhaps a tad overrated... more
