The offerings in the restaurant are reasonably priced. The chicken sate was tasty enough. My main suggestion has nothing to do with food, although it may enhance the dining experience (let us hope): a few more lights in the evening would be my tip to the management. Honestly, it is almost impossible to order and eat in the dark. Wasn't... More

Gustis Garden Bungalows are like 5 min walk up in an dead end alley with lots of little shops and restaurants. This alley is just next to Starbucks, Ubud Water Palace and the King Palace is on the other corner so the location is very good. In the heart of Ubud. The garden of the bungalows is very beautifull and... More

We ate here twice because of the great value vegetarian food. I think we had to ask for just tempe not tofu but we ordered tempe sate with rice and veges. Traditional Balinese surroundings and good service. It wasnt very busy when we were there. The lighting is not great.

the guesthouse is in the middle of ubud but hidden enough that you dont hear the traffic but a little waterfall and have a nice jungle view! the staff was very nice always asking how we are and if everything was okay! the rooms could use a bit remodelling, the towels and sheets were always stained and were smelling a... this place could do with more staff. don't come here if you're really, really hungry. had to wait 30 mins for my small-ish pepes tuna, which was just okay. not delicious, not bad, but definitely not worth the wait. waiter could not remember the day's specials. the only thing that was going for it was the cheap price.

I booked the room online images based and it was the last time when I make that mistake. The room was the dirtiest I've seen. Minor bugs everywhere. The owners to think about: e has sometimes been very beautiful, but nothing is taken care of. Toilet and shower were especially tragic condition. Bed linen and towels, mattress, pillows, worn out... We recently visited the place. Its a nice little place just 5-10min walk from Ubud central. It is generally a nice place but I think cleanliness of the room can be improved. Other than that, the place is a gem with friendly staff and felt almost like a homestay. Breakfast was included in our stay and the course of fresh... More

Gustis Garden Bungalows is in a great position, right near the hub of Ubud, but once you are on the property you could be in the middle of nowhere. Lovely outlook and view with a small pool at the bottom of the hill near the breakfast restaurant which overlooks the canyon. Breakfast is included and adequate. The staff are helpful... More

I spent there 10 days and I enjoyed its gardens and pool. People there --workers and other kind of long-term guests-- were always nice and in general the hotel was safe. Sometimes I ate in the restaurant I became fan of their Nasi Goreng (Fried Rice), which costed less than $3, really yummy. If I would have to improve something... More

Staff are friendly and helpful, owners need to learn hospitality! The whole facility needs a good clean and the tap/ plumbing needs serious attention!I stayed in top room great view but balcony has access from neighbour not great. Bathroom need to have a shower mixer that works and a tap in wash hand basin that doesn't wet you when washing... More
