These bungalows are in the grounds of the Royal Palace and right next door to the Lilly Ponds, a really good location. Beautiful gardens and a great Balinese feel. Breakfast is good with choices and the breakfast staff are very friendly. The rooms are small and ours had no chairs and nothing to put our cases on and we had... More

You can't beat this price for the very central location. It's about 20 mins walking distance to all our favourite restaurants such Cafe Wayan ( along Jln Monkey Forest) and Dolce Arancia. The Ubud market is just a 5 minute walk away,5-9am-located opposite Ubud Palace. That said, don't expect 5 star embellishments here- the estate looks old but gardens n... More

Great location, nice gardens. However, we booked through agoda for two people, 2 nights. Upon our arrival the front desk told us that we were only booked for 1 person, and told us we needed to pay extra. They insisted we pay cash, in addition to the credit card payment we had already made in advance. The room was $60... More

This is a great hotel close enough to everything you could want to walk to in Ubud. The staff is very friendly at this traditional Balinese hotel. The price is great for what you get! The staff recommended the bike tour through Ubud which we decided to do and loved. They set everything up for us, it was so easy.... More

this place is in the Main Street however the rooms are set in the back so very quite from the hustle. the rooms are traditional style and are perfectly matched to the surrounds of this place, lush gardens and access to the temple & lotus pond we were lucky enough to have an upstairs room over looking both - room... This was a great find! Such character. We felt like a part of Ubud staying there. Beautiful offerings every morning outside of our door. Clean, comfortable and friendly staff. Good (free!) breakfast every morning. Excellent location!!! We also used a private driver for 2 days to explore outside of Ubud named I Nyoman Suparta. He was truly wonderful. We left... More

We returned a second time as it said on the net that the whole hotel and a major reno, was not the case, the cleaning standards left a lot to be desired, our room had feicies on the wall and it took three days to have it cleaned. On the good side this is a very central located hotel with... More

Being on our honeymoon, we were wanting something a little special but Puru Saraswati did not hit the mark I'm afraid. We were in a small room up the back with two twin beds pushed together to make the double. In the room I had no access down the side of my bed unless I jumped over it was there... More

We stayed at the Puri Saraswati in early January for seven nights with our two children. We had two rooms (the double room at the back) and it was perfect. The staff was very kind and we took advantage of a morning walk with one of them. The breakfasts were super and the rooms were clean, great air/con and had... More

This hotel is a real surprise adjacent to the Lotus Pond and temple. Friendly staff, large spacious rooms (some have a/c, others don't as we found out), and within walking distance of shopping, the day market, Monkey Forest, restaurants, and paddy fields to name a few. Just a block or two and we were able to find a tour each... More
