Located on the grounds of the old Palace, in the main strip of Ubud...walking distance to everything but set back from the main road, so nice and quiet. Very friendly and helpful staff, even gave me a free ride on motorbike to Bintang Supermarket a couple of times. Large private balcony, room service, sipping on a cool drink, excellent air... More

The location couldn't be better, right on the main road and walking distance to most things. Try to get one of bungalows towards the rear of the building away from the road they tend to be quieter. The breakfast is a generous 5 courses with fresh fruit , toast, eggs, and pancakes along with fresh juice and coffee. We agreed... More

Beautiful garden setting in palace grounds amid lovely trees and flowers. It's close to the market, restaurants, coffee shops, art galleries and tour companies. Walking distance to temples and Monkey Forest. There is a pool but the water was cold for swimming. They offered a generous American breakfast with a choice of banana crepes, omelets, scrambled or fried eggs, fruits,... More

We just spent four nights. When we arrived to take up occupancy in our "deluxe" room, we found dirty linen in the bed. Our friend's room had a broken handle on the door which could not hold the lock. By complaining firmly these issues were resolved. Breakfasts were very generous- fruit AND juice, eggs and toast and pancake, tea or... More

Well decoreted and beautiful place. Nice pool. Very good location next to lotus cafe, with a lake and lotus flowers, great to take pictures. Amazing outside area with gardens and authentic Balinese style. It's very close to a busy street but you don't hear a sound! I would book again!

This is the second time we have stayed at the Puri Saraswati and it really has a great location and is very reasonably priced. They have beautiful grounds and it is very calm and peaceful in the grounds, even though the racket of Jalan Raya is just a few feet away. It is very close to the market, many Temples,... More

We are staying for four nights in Puri Saraswati and regretting leaving today. We have a five year old with us so it has been wonderful to be in the centre of town but in such a quiet beautiful place. the temple gate is right next to our room so we watch the preparation of offerings daily and feel like... Beautiful location and really quiet considering it is on busy main street. So peaceful and tranquil. Stayed here for 2 nights but could of stayed longer. Beautiful breakfast and the fresh fruitjuice and banana pancakes are yummy. The grounds were very well maintained and I loved the lotus ponds and the orchids. Quite a few stairs to climb. Room was... Beautiful location and very quiet even though it's on the main road through Ubud. Like many places throughout the world, the staff are what made our break here very special. Nothing was too much trouble and always delivered with a smile. The rooms are not new but are clean and large enough to spread out. The beds are a litle... More

I just found a secret place in Ubud, well secret to me anyway. I have been to Ubud 5 times and knew nothing of this place, just walking past all the orchids near the entry gave my heart a lift and the sight of the beautiful bungalows and the lotus ponds next door will make sure I come back. The... More
