Located near the palace and the star of the campuan ridge walk this hotel is in the thick of things for daily activities. It's a bit of a walk to the main area for cafés and restaurants though-between 10 and 20 mins depending on which ones your going to. Yoga barn is 30 mins walk away. Staff are helpful and... More

Great location near the big temple, royal palace, market, and museum! The gardens were stunning, food was good, and the tranquility was welcomed and unexpected because if it being right in the midst of the hustle and bustle of the city. The rooms had an older feel but we're well kept. It's long on charm and gives the feel of... More

I had a few days after my photo tour of Bali and reserved this place site unseen. I couldn't have asked for more. It's location is right in the middle of Ubud, yet it is quiet; the bungalows are set back about 50 m from the street. The atmosphere is fantastic. From the room, your private veranda, the adjoining temple... More

Rooms are perfect. Not huge, but quite big, you have your own terrace! Gardens are beautiful and have a small pool for an afternoon refresh. Location is awesome, near ubud markets, near CasaLuna Restaurant... The restaurant next door is a little noisy (night show) but nothing you can't handle. Service is great too! Great value, great stay!

This is a small hotel set in a beautiful tranquil tropical garden just meters from the busy noisy main street. I loved the traditional Balinese architecture with all the intricate carving on the doors and windows. Rooms were small but comfortable and had a fridge for cold drinks and full length mirror. The bathroom could have been a bit cleaner... More

I love this place! I spent a week here and then 2 more nights when passing back through Ubud. As others have mentioned, the hotel is on a busy street in the center, but the rooms are set far back so it is quiet. I had Bima, which is in the back — I do recommend getting a room in... More

Do you want to be in the center of Ubud, close to everything - temples, restaurants of all kinds, cultural events (dance performances, shadow puppets) and still feel that you are isolated from the crowds that come to this city? Well, this hotel, with its beautiful gardens, pool, outdoor covered eating area, delicious breakfasts (included), attentive and friendly staff, bungalows... More

I love this place. It reminded me of a time, more than 30 years ago. It felt like the real Bali. This place is tranquil, traditional and just what's needed after a hectic day out on those crazy streets. The staff are great. I took an very early morning walk with a young staff member and was pleasantly surprised by... More

An excellent mid-size hotel on a temple site - ancient imperial palace! Can't beat the location. Services are always provided with a smile! Katuck is the best driver we've ever had! He knows the area quite well and always drove us on back roads to really save time! Excellent driver, the jewel of the bunks' services. The bunks, perhaps, need... More

A verry Nice traditional hotel with a beautiful garden. It feels like you are Staying in the real Indonesian nature. The first room we get. was full of Mold so we asked for an other room, this wasn't a problem. The second room we get was a lot better, it was really stylish and it was clean. The thing that... More
