We are staying for four nights in Puri Saraswati and regretting leaving today. We have a five year old with us so it has been wonderful to be in the centre of town but in such a quiet beautiful place. the temple gate is right next to our room so we watch the preparation of offerings daily and feel like... Beautiful location and really quiet considering it is on busy main street. So peaceful and tranquil. Stayed here for 2 nights but could of stayed longer. Beautiful breakfast and the fresh fruitjuice and banana pancakes are yummy. The grounds were very well maintained and I loved the lotus ponds and the orchids. Quite a few stairs to climb. Room was... Beautiful location and very quiet even though it's on the main road through Ubud. Like many places throughout the world, the staff are what made our break here very special. Nothing was too much trouble and always delivered with a smile. The rooms are not new but are clean and large enough to spread out. The beds are a litle... More

I just found a secret place in Ubud, well secret to me anyway. I have been to Ubud 5 times and knew nothing of this place, just walking past all the orchids near the entry gave my heart a lift and the sight of the beautiful bungalows and the lotus ponds next door will make sure I come back. The... More

Right in the center of UBUD this budget friendly hotel is located just next to Saraswati temple with a lovely lotus pond. Best money changer, taxis available just outside but our room Shrikandi was pleasantly quiet except for the music and dance at the temple. Very large breakfast including banana pancake was pretty good. Also the palace where also they... More

After grueling tiring & leg breaking continuous standing for more than three hours in never ending serpentine queue for procuring Visa on Arrival at Bali Airport , the motherly warm welcome extended to our family at the Puri Saraswati Bungalows by the gracious lady owner thereof with the best possible & most delicious fresh fruits drinks coupled with large smile... I stayed three nights there at the end of August with my husband and my two kids, ages 4 and 6. The staff that serves the breakfast is very nice. My kids kept asking them to take a turtle they have out of the pond and they always did it with a smile :) The pool is very small but... More

Perfect location right in the centre of Ubud. The bungalows are located in a private garden, with a direct access to the Saraswati Temple. Clean and comfortable rooms, superb breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff, arranged bicycle tour and taxi to Amed for us at a very good rate. Thin walls so you can hear your neighbours, but value for money... More

Really enjoyed this place. First impressions were amazing the surrounds are heavenly. It is right in the middle of ubud so we walked everywhere. Our room was great- clean and good sized, balcony was amazing and overlooked pool and spectacular scenery of gorgeous ubud. The shower and bathroom was a little dirty but we thought this place was excellent value... More

I stayed of few days at Puri Saraswati while visiting Ubud with my family. The hotel still belongs to the Ubud royal family and you could feel the atmosphere of the royal palace, with lush and pleasant garden. We have been welcomed by the friendly staff with a pleasant fresh juice. The hotel is charming and is just near the... More
