I stay longer than a few days at this property and in general, it is nothing special. The staff here makes a big effort to interact with the guests to make the stay a good experience. Working against the hard working staff are the owners! The old woman sitting in the shadows barking orders at the staff from 10 meters... More

I just adored this place. It's a traditional style, older resort located in the heart of Ubud just outside the Sacred Monkey Forest. The hotel is in the center, yet so quiet because it's set in the back. It has two lovely pools. The rooms either have a ground floor terrace or balcony. Breakfast is free, do try the banana... More

After reading the reviews I decided to upgrade to a deluxe suite as it seemed like the cleanest and better option, however when I got there I was disappointed at the room. It smelt terrible the linen was stained and the bedding smelt mouldy which made it hard to sleep. Both the fridge and tv were broken and asked twice... More

A friend booked this property to save money. If this is your goal it suits. Cheap and convenient to Ubud center. I found it loud with scooter traffic and a caged dove singing through the night. Farrell cat in the room catching mice...Also not really a proper shower or tub, again if this doesn't matter go for it. It matters... More

This place is well located and well priced. The rooms quite large and the bathrooms OK. Priced at Rp 250,000 for fans orRp 350,000 with a/c.Breakfast included. . There is a good sized pool. the gardens are well maintained. However it could be so much better with just a few changes. There are no glasses in the rooms,or Bottle openers... More

this hotel was in a very good location in the monkey forest street, very near to the monkey forest itself. in the morning, i found one monkey sitting in from of our hotel before it ran back to its habitat. the hotel was typically traditional family owned. the receptionist wasn't warm welcome or polite. i found out from a a... Booked here in advance using Agoda. When we came to check in they had no idea we had a reservation. Our room was a huge disappointment even though the price was low and we didn't expect much. Bed was comfortable but apart from that we didn't want to spend any time in the room. Bathroom had a constant pool of... More

After an initially 'hostile' welcoming from a lady at the front desk when booking rooms, i was welcomed with my family and provided lodging in their deluxe bungalows. Although they're a little dated, they're much nicer than other locations close by for a similar price. Ask and you shall receive. We were provided extra towels and hot water to make... More

Really nice location, close to the Monkey Forest, Ubud market and Ubud Palace. Swimmingpool is enjoyable, the room was ok but strong incense's smell in the sheets. Negative points: bathroom needs a huge upgrade, quite dirty in my opinion and becames flooded all the time. Breakfast was ok but staff not really friendly except the guy that works at night.... Stayed for three nights in early September. Firstly the bungalows look nothing like the pictures and in stark contrast what you get is a rather dark and gloomy room with dirty linen, a toilet that doesn't flush properly and really dim lights. If you stay in a bungalow that is semi-attached to another one, be prepared to hear EVERYTHING your... More
