We stayed at Amel for 4 nights after arriving from 3 months in India. It's a lovely little home stay about 2 mins walk from the main areas. It's set back from the road, quiet and well decorated. The bed is brilliantly comfy, it has hot water, WiFi, and a little porch in front of your room. The price includes... More

Very clean and beautiful homestay, 10min walk off the main road of Ubud. The family is very friendly and helpful! The rooms are spacious and very clean with a hot shower and nice beds. The fan works perfectly! You can rent a motorbike to to around the island.

You can feel the real Balinese spirit. Owners are super nice and care for you :) There is kids and animal who make litle noise but it did not disturb me. Rooms are new and clean and bed is very comfortable.

I stayed three nights in one of the upper rooms. They're much better than on the ground ones because nobody can look into your room. I got it for 150.000IDR per night without breakfast. The family is very friendly and helpful. They have good quality scooters for 50.000IDR a day and the son is a taxi driver. He charged me... More

We stayed at Amel Homestay on two occasions during our holiday and we really enjoyed our stay there. It is located about 10 min slow walk from the heart of Ubud and only 5 min walk from the Sacred Monkey Forest. The two rooms we stayed in were both clean and the double beds were comfortable. There was a ceiling... More

Stayed here two nights last week and one night just now after my round trip of the north part. Had two different rooms and both are very good. Location is perfect, you can walk everything and the best restaurants are in this area. Lovely people and helped me a lot with all my trips that I wanted to do. Breakfast... More

Amel Home Stay is a row of houses in a small quite neighborhood. The surrounding houses facing the street do a nice job of blocking the noise from scooters and cars. The only noise will come from nearby roosters (for the local cockfights) and stray dogs. I spent 4 nights at this local but still western inspired, little home. The... More

This homestay is very nice. Good location + friendly owners))) it's just a budget homestay, so don't expect a lot from it. But it was clean, cosy and with nice breakfast. Try banana pancakes. They are green and very tasty))) i stayed there in June and July and it was ok in a room with fan (no air-con)
