We just completed a three day stay at the ARMA resort. When one enters the grounds, one is wrapped in Balinese culture - including the statues, plants, bridges, rice paddies, and buildings. It was a delightful experience for my entire family. the staff was attentive and we were treated like royalty. The food at the restaurant was delicious and excellent... More

This is an incredible blend of art, nature and serenity. We wandered the gardens and the resort, enjoying the flowering bushes and trees, the myriad of orchids on tree trunks (each meticulously labelled), the stone fountains and flowing waters.....ahhh so peaceful. The galleries are well curated with artwork depicting Indonesian culture and landscapes - most by Indonesian artists, but many... More

Went back to Ubud for R&R around May-June and there's no other place that we would like to stay but Arma. For us, Arma is not a hotel, not a resort, but it's a lifestyle. The villa was amazing and perfect service (as always). Yes, it is not cheap, even for me that enjoying the Indonesian passport holder rate, but... More

Huge and spacious place (6,5 hectare=65.000m2) with only 19 deluxe room and 10 villas, make this resort really a remarkable place to stay. the garden well taken care , full of diversity of tree, orchid, paddy's field, even some rare yellow bamboo make this place like a piece of heaven. Find the peace with the earth and yourself here, don't... More

Located central and remote at the same time, this resort is an insider tip. Real Bali people provide real Bali hospitality and give you a treat you will never fortget. Luxury and comfort in a wonderful environment at very reasonable prices. You will come back!

This is probably the most special hotel I've ever stayed at. Our room was like a museum, with beautifully carved woodwork, a huge bathroom of stone, and a porch overlooking a lovely river and garden. It was not cheap (and if you start adding extra beds for children in Bali, the rooms can get really expensive), but it was so... More

Ubud is like an Indian hillstation but not as cool. The Arma museum and resort is a beautiful complex of unique rooms inside the museum grounds.the gurgling brroks and gentle breezes are a delight The rooms are sometimes modern and some very traditional. I stayed in a traditional room with a huge 4 poster and several dressing rooms leading to... More

I've never stayed in a hotel like this before. Arms was recommended by a friend. It truly is a Museum with a hotel within. We stayed in a Villa that had a private swimming pool. Fresh fruit and flowers were delivered to the room daily. The Museum was charming. There were cultural shows almost nightly. The Staff were helpful and... More

From the moment you arrive you know this place is something special and different. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with a genuine old-style Balinese ambience, but the grounds are the standout. The place is so lush, green and tranquil, its a pleasure to just walk around and soak it all in and, when you've done that, you can then... More

Removed from the hustle and bustle of ubud town to the tranquility of this lovely space. Not overloaded with artistic works but as the owner states this complex is all art, be it painted or the natural areas which connect it together. Wasn't expecting a spiritual experience but certainly got one. A must if you want to see Balinese paintings... More
