Came back to Bali again? Third time, second time to Arma. The only place I'll stay in Ubud, the Arma resort is a gem. It is community central with an ethos of education in the traditional cultural arts while giving extremely good service and ammenities. The staff are genuinely helpful and interested ( and interesting ). We arrived by Armas... More

This spot in Ubud is really worth the visit. Agung Rai has done a magnificent job crafting this space. Gardens are beautiful, & the museum has a wonderful collection. If you're there for New Years Eve you'll get to see some really excellent traditional music & dance from Yayasan Polosseni

Arriving from the bustling narrow streets of Ubud Town into the quiet serenity of the Arma Resort Hotel was a step into the essence of Bali. The friendly staff escorted us through a large stone gateway, up garden pathways to the intricately carved wooden door that opened into the beautiful hotel room. A quiet morning walk through the resort led... More

Though a bit more expensive than other restaurants in the neighbourhood, Arma Cafe is a refuge from the sun and traffic in a beautiful locale. A wonderful cross-breeze and delicious food make for a relaxing break. The staff are full of smiles and very sweet.

The ARMA museum is located among beautiful gardens and rice fields. It has some very interesting Balinese art pieces by both local and international artists. There is an excellent restaurant on the premises as well as a lovely cafe overlooking the rice fields.

I stayed at the Arma for a few days and this hotel was perfect. It wasn't directly in the main city/shopping area, but the side entrance led directly to those streets, so it was easy to walk around and shop. The museum has beautiful artwork, and the room we stayed in was comfortable and clean. The hotel itself was built... More

Beautiful gardens including rice paddies, named exotic orchards and pools of water. Fantastic buildings and walkways. Art museum outstanding with all works of art clearly labelled. Interesting intro into life of Walter Spies also on display.

We just completed a three day stay at the ARMA resort. When one enters the grounds, one is wrapped in Balinese culture - including the statues, plants, bridges, rice paddies, and buildings. It was a delightful experience for my entire family. the staff was attentive and we were treated like royalty. The food at the restaurant was delicious and excellent... More

This is an incredible blend of art, nature and serenity. We wandered the gardens and the resort, enjoying the flowering bushes and trees, the myriad of orchids on tree trunks (each meticulously labelled), the stone fountains and flowing waters.....ahhh so peaceful. The galleries are well curated with artwork depicting Indonesian culture and landscapes - most by Indonesian artists, but many... More
