This hotel although older, tired and not the fanciest proclaims on its sign to be "an elite resort" and I'm sure back in the day...it was. But love it for what it is, clean basic rooms at a value price with a GREAT cooked breakfast included (fresh fruit juice of your choice, fresh fruit plate, eggs to order, toast or... More

There is no denying that this hotel is a bit tired and could definitely use a facelift but if you bargain on the price then this hotel is better than many others I looked at in the same price range. I love that each room has a terrace or balcony with a little table - I had a lot of... More

Myself and my partner stayed in this hotel wanting a bit of extra added comfort from the inexpensive hotels and hostels we had previously stayed in, which we might as well have not have done because I personally found this hotel was a bit of a let down. The hotel is old and tired, shower pressure and temperature is next... More

I stayed here for 5 nights with a friend and you couldn't find a more accommodating staff. The pool was beautiful and when it wasn't raining we made full use of it. There are only 2 loungers but the staff gladly bring you a mattress and towel if you're not early enough in the morning to get a bed. Breakfast... More

Hotel is OK, well located and the staff is really friendly. Facilities look a bit old and worn and they could improve a little the breakfast. Tip: bargain the price there. They will always put a high number first and within minutes you can get to half of it, specially in the low season.

Very old feeling hotel and, as others noted, its right next to yoga barn which is the main reason people stay. We actually stayed here twice on this trip through Bali. The first time we stayed in an upstairs room, and didn't notice anything askance. although in retrospect, my kid did have big welts on his back after our stay... More

No major complaints with the hotel itself but the tired-looking façade and rooms did somewhat dampen our stay. The décor and trimmings were very dated and somewhat dusty. The rooms were old and dim but clean and the bathroom had a dank smell, though not overpowering. The pool was small and basic, and the deck chairs were not very clean... More

I stayed here mainly for ease of access to the Yoga Barn, which is just round the corner. However, the hotel itself is very run down, and not a particularly inviting place to spend time. For the money, I think that there are much better places in Ubud.

This hotel was built around 1990 when I was living in Bali. It was beautiful when it first opened, but I don't think the sheets, blankets, bedding, towels ,mattress, television, or anything else has be replaced since then. I just stayed there last week and woke up with such extreme bed bug bites that I had to get medication for them. I... More

I was 'landed' at this place by a tour guide and although the price of the room was quoted as $90 I managed to bring them down to $50. As I arrived at ~7pm, I couldn't be bothered to go and find alternative accommodation. The room itself was very nice, big double bed and spacious room and the bathroom was... More
