We stayed at Alam shanti in May 2013. We chose the cheapest accommodation named Utari room as it was a whole bungalow/villa to ourselves ie upstairs and downstairs. This suited us best as I can't sleep with my kids right next to me. The room was much better than the photos on the website. Down stairs was a fridge seating... More

I stayed in Alam Shanti for two nights (17 and 18 July 2015) during my solo trip in Bali. It was really enjoyable. My room was Gayatri, at the second floor with wonderful rice field view from the balcony. The room was decorated with traditional Balinese elements while the facilities were still very convenient for me to use. Every afternoon... More

We stayed here and it was the most expensive place. But we had stayed at one of the sister places before and loved it. The room we had was very hot and the air con did not seem to make any difference. Still a nice place but not sure I got value for money this time. Probably stay in Ubud... More

We stayed in the Gangga villa room, which is upstairs and has a private swimming pool. The grounds are spectacular-fish ponds, lush plantings, and so much Balinese atmosphere. The breakfasts were large and so good, and the coffee made me think about changing into a coffee drinker. Ayu at the desk was particularly friendly and helpful. The only tiny down... More

We had the Gangga Villa (upstairs with large balcony) which entitled us to use the private swimming pool, which we had to ourselves for the 4 days ~ magic!! Other rooms close to reception also looking appealing. They were constructing a yoga pavillion whilst I was there, would be a magical place to do yoga.

I stayed for three nights at Alam Shanti and had an amazing time. The rooms are perfectly furnished, with a lot of taste. Mine overlooked a pond and upon my arrival was greeted by a Monkey coming to steal my fruits ! Breakfasts are big with a lot of choice and can be served anywhere. The afternoon tea is also... More

Just stayed in the Yamuna room with a private shared pool - difficult to fault this place. The accommodation is excellent, especially for the price - large, immaculately kept room and bathroom with huge deck overlooking the daily rituals of rice paddies and jungle. The rooms are beautifully furnished without being overdone. Staff are friendly and attentive, food isn't amazing... More

Our family spent 2 night there in October 2015. We have two kids (1.5 and 3.5 years old). Our feedback below was written after our trip in Bali so that we can compare hotel and services among all the 4 places we visited. Services: Nice staff. Very helpful as there is no restaurant inside the hotel but they manage very... More
