Location is great. Right in the centre. Close to shops restaurants and monkey forest. Standard Rooms (close to reception) are big, clean, with large balcony .... but just a bit outdated. Overlooking the rice field and completely tranquil with the only sound to be heard was water from the fountain outside. "Deluxe" Rooms were a fair walk to the back... More

The grounds are gorgeous with a beautiful swimming pool and garden but the room is underwhelming with a poorly designed bathroom. The shower head sprays water everywhere and gets the floor wet. Food was good though. Best feature is central location. Great place to explore Ubud but switched to another hotel after one night. Management staff not very friendly.

Great central location. Beautiful garden and pools. The view is amazing but the standard room we had was awful. It wasn't clean and dated. You couldn't connect to internet. The bathroom was the worst one I've ever seen. I think their superior rooms or deluxe ones are better. As soon as you get out from the room, everything was pleasant.... More

This hotel is right in Ubud and you can walk to the shops and the markets in five minutes. The monkey forest is a ten minute walk away. The rooms vary in quality, the older rooms are quite tired ,my daughters room had an ant issue. However the large rooms at the back are quite nice, large with balconies and very large... More

The hotel has got several large rooms around two pool areas (one pool is salty) and with views to rice fields. They arrange tours at competitive price and with great service from guides and cars. Breakfast is fair enough, too. For Indinesian's average, it may be a bit expensive (80 USD) so, if you are on a budget it might... More

Right in the centre of Ubud, in the Monkey Forest Street. Very near to restaurants, shops, spas and Ubud Market. Peaceful place, nice pool, nice breakfast, nice gardens, nice view to the rice fields. Very nice and welcoming staff. Rooms are quite good but bathrooms some old-fashioned.

The Cendana is situated 50 m from the main street of Ubud and is such a peaceful and green place close to all facilities (shops and restaurants to go out). The swimming pool in front of the paddy is stunning and towels are at your disposal. The service is of very good quality. If room 307 is available then take... More

This hotel is right off busy Monkey Forest Road, but is surprisingly quiet and has beautiful views of rice paddies. The staff is very helpful and always smiling. Beautiful infinity edge pool over looking the green rice paddies Rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. Great balcony over looking hotel grounds and pool. I would definitely stay here again.

Positives. Location. Bang in the middle of the monkey forest road it is surrounded by a lot of great cafes, shops and spa. The ubud market is at one end of the road and the monkey forest is at the Other. Also. . Despite this central location, once you enter the place is very quiet. It is like being transported... More

Had a fantastic time at this resort, great location, friendly staff - great pool and rooms. The bird near the front entrance was an absolute hoot, a little noisey and annoying if you came back to the resort after a few drinks but gorgeous. I would definately recommend anyone to stay here.
