I am still enjoying my photographs of this hotel and its environs, some time after my visit. I loved the infinity pool with its sculptures, the surroundig rice fields, the spacious rooms and varied daily breakfast. It may be close to the centre of Monkey Forest Road but you'd hardly know it! I'm looking forward to returning!

Stayed in a deluxe room downstairs, near Restaurant overlooking Pool & paddy field. An excellent location right in the heart of Monkey Forest road, close to everything. Nice rooms, excellent breakfast, pleasant staff. Good WiFi connection! No bogans here; they're all in Kuta!!!

I was delighted to stumble upon Cendana in the heart of Ubud as I traveled through Bali. It is centrally located on Monkey Forest road, but set back from the main road so it was peaceful. Cendana offers a very nice solution if you want to stay in the centre of Ubud. It is in the middle of the Monkey forest and the main temple of Ubud. It has two nice pools , so most of the time at least one is practically empty. For the location and the quality offered the rooms are good value.... More
