This hotel is truly out of this world. The architecture is mesmerising, the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, the rooms are fabulous and the views are beyond words. We stayed here for 5 nights for our honeymoon and this hotel is very traditional in terms of it's style but the rooms are huge, with a big heart shaped tub,... More

We stayed 3 nights at the Royal Pita Maha during our 3rd visit to Bali and Ubud. Overall the resort is stunning in terms of rchitecture and landscaping: the moment you enter the resort you're overwhelmed by the detailed architecture, and the views on the Ayung valey from the restaurants. Stairs and elevators bring you all the way down to... More

We spent 5 nights and loved every moment. The setting overlooking the Ayung river is National Geographic stunning. We were in villa 138 high above the sheer cliff over the river bottom--no other part of the resort was visible as we looked across the gorge to the jungled far side. Birds flew by in the morning and in the evening... More

We stayed at the Royal Pita Maha for 4 nights after 5 nights at the beautiful Intercontinental on the beach. This hotel is in a beautiful secluded jungle location (the front gate is a kilometer from the lobby!). The villas and private pools are large although could be a bit more comfortable in terms of updating the furniture and better... More

I loved pretty much every minute we spent at this hotel. 1) The view alone was worth it. 2) The room was elegant and spotless. The private pool was a nice size. Great open feeling with the glass doors. 3) The staff were really nice and helpful (though did not speak the most fluent English). They helped us make reservations... More

I just returned from 4 nights here and I agree totally with the previous review (Knaz, Madrid). The facility might be the most beautiful I have seen especially the landscaping, facility and location. It has a lower area by the river that is extremely beautiful and serine. What is lacking is is food quality and basic hotel operations from housekeeping,... More

We spent 4 nights at the Royal Pita Maha and I can still feel how my heart stopped beating for a long long second when we entered the hotel and were stunned by views from the veranda. The landscape and views are to truly die for and the pools are everything to write home about. There was lots of privacy... More

I stayed at Royal Pita Maha for 5 nights in August, 2007, with my best friend. At the moment we stepped in our room, the breathtaking view from the bedroom caught our eyes!! We can enjoy the great green view over my private pool from our confortable beds! The garden is also lovely. The stone statues are everywhere and decorated... More

This place is a safe and beautiful santuary. You will feel completely cut off from the rest of the world and never want to leave the resort. However if you do, there is a shuttle every hour and they are very accomodating in terms of where you want to be dropped off, picked up. Everything about the Royal is beautiful,... More

After booking the Pita Maha and deciding it was not for us once we arrived, (see my review on Pita Maha) we were upgraded to Royal Pita Maha. It is out of the way and a good 10mins in the car back to town, but it’s a damn site better then the Pita Maha. We negotiated and got their best... More
