After driving through the growing commerce of stalls which line the streets from the Airport to ubud, we entered the private reserve of the hotel, Royal Pita Maha; and knew we were somewhere special. Arriving at the registration we were welcomed, as never welcomed before. The staff were kind and gracious making us feel that our arrival was as special... More

What an amazing hotel. Beautiful views. Excellent facilities. Generous and helpful staff. Can not fault anything. Food was good. Staff were attentive. Very clean rooms. The view is worth the money alone.

Sadly this wonderful resort was fully booked & we stayed elsewhere in Ubud. But we HAD to return to experience the amazing location, fabulous breakfast & beautiful staff again. Very happy to see Dewi, the favourite manager who once again extended hospitality despite the fact we were there simply for breakfast. WELL WORTH a short taxi trip(AUS $5) to visit here again.... It was our first time in Bali and we chose the Royal Pita Maha for our first hotel. We wanted to begin the trip by visiting the famous town of Ubud. After a long search, we decided to stay outside of Ubud, to be cut off from the world. The Royal Pita Maha was a good compromise : it´s located... More

Excellent hotel, welcoming and friendly staff. The villas are superb, spacious and a stunning view in front if a private pool. The lagoon is also a very fun addition. Although we explored the treks on our own, it's probably advisable to take a guide to minimize walking along the roads and maximize time in the breathtaking rice fields.

This is the second time we have stayed at the Royal pitamaha, as we were so impressed with the physical beauty and the seclusion this exclusive resort offers. This time however we have been treated somewhat shabbily given the price bracket this hotel commands. Without any prior warning this afternoon half the property was closed off for a private wedding... More

As soon we arrived in the lobby, we can see that the villa is well maintained and clean. After 10mnts waiting and did registration, we went straight to Healing Villa, facing right to their field and yoga bale. Their staff warm welcome us with truly balinese hospitality, thank you to Ibu Ayu! You've been amazing :) They also have extensive... More

The room 101 (Royal House) was great. When we first arrived, staff welcomed us very warmly. At the first look, hotel and lobby and the staff was very impressing. They sadly said that, our villa is still not ready, (it was a room with private pool) and they offered a villa with an open air private jakuzi and two massage... More

To test the hotel we visited with three persons and ordered a large pot of tea. A pot arrived, accompanied by three cups and two cookies. Presuming this was a trivial error, we requested one more cookie. The waitress as well as the restaurant manager explained us, that it was impossible to comply with our request, because Hotel Pita Maha... More
