Beautiful stay at alam jiwa. Great staff, gorgeous rooms overlooking rice fields and volcanoes. What a exceptional experience. I highly recommend this hidden gem. They offer free rides into and back from ubud at any time, excellent breakfasts and afternoon tea with homemade cakes.

We had a family reunion here. Stayed at the 2 bedroom suite. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful. Delightful breakfasts were served. the woodwork in the rooms, the open air bathroom, the paddy fields overlooking the balcony....it was simply superb. Very traditional, located right next to the monkey forest. And they have a superb spa.

We had a wonderful stay at Alam Jiwa… Only issue was the transportation, even though they are always willing to ferry you back and forth to Ubud, it is a nuisance at some point. If you are travelling with people of lowered mobility, walking thru the Monkey Forest is complicated. We stayed at Cendrawasih for 2 night, and we missed... More

From beginning to end we just loved staying here. Fantastic service, room, food and location. We loved our room Jataya and it was perfect for our family of 4. We will be back. We also stayed at Alam Shanti and loved it.

This was our first time to Alam Jiwa. We had previously stayed at Alam Gili which we loved. We were picked up at the airport and transported to our mountain oasis. We stayed in the Hanoman room overlooking the rice paddy fields. Just amazing. It is located in the village of Nyuh Kuning, on the other side of the Monkey... More

This was the first stop on our honeymoon trip to Bali. They sent someone to pick us up at the airport, which is about an hour or more away depending on traffic. You have to make sure you confirm your stay 7 days before arrival. The staff was very nice and it felt like they tried to get to know... More

I can not recommend this place highly enough, my family and I spent a week in Ubud we stayed here, the service was wonderful, the staff are so welcoming and it really did feel like a home away from home, the breakfast delicious each morning, and the afternoon a daily treat! The rooms are massive and beautifully done my husband... More

We (2 adults and 2 kids 5 and 7y) spent five days in Alam Jiwa. We loved it! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are great value and the pool are great for us and the kids relaxing after a great day in and around ubud. The hotel is approx. 25 minutes to walk from the center... More

Spent 3 nights in this hotel outside of Ubud. This is a traditional Balinese Hotel, not Western. It is located quite a distance outside the town of Ubud, too long to walk in hot weather. The hotel has a free shuttle service to and from town, but there is usually a 15 to 20 minute wait. The service in the... More

Our Family of 5 stayed in the Cendrawasih Suite at Alam Jiwa for 4 x nights during Nyepi. I cannot begin to describe the Beauty of this Establishment. The views and surroundings are breathtaking. From our 3 x story Balinese building we had views of the Forest, Creek, Rice Fields and 2 x Volcanoes! The sunrises were Amazing. Although Alam... More
