The resort gives the impression that the hotel part is an afterthought, which the staff just aren't prepared for or very interested in. Firstly, the new building is quite far from the entrance, there wasn't any information about the hotel facilities (or a "do not disturb" sign which was important) in the room, the shower wasn't fitted properly, and "garden... I recently stayed in a Deluxe Room overlooking the pool and rice fields. Pool was great and the resort, set in the rice fields, was very spacious and quite. A great place to stay and I would definitely stay there again. If you stay in the hotel, make sure you book the deluxe rooms overlooking the pool. All the staff... More

Stayed in a bungalow, room 103, and am still puzzled by its set up. There's villas, and a new building with hotel rooms. My bungalow had an upstairs bedroom with a/c - mind the steep stairs - and the bathroom and a lazy room was downstairs. Both 'open air', but with blinds if you needed. The bathroom was a grey,... We chose this hotel because it was the best priced and available at a very busy time. We arrived to a luke warm reception, no electricity, no internet (which the reception staff couldn't care less about) and dirty sheets on our bed that had to be changed. Breakfast the next morning was a let down as they were out of... More

This is my third time staying in Agung Raka. A nice bungalow all to yourself. The staff is ever so friendly and they can still remember me when I check in. This place is for people who prefer to be surrounded by nature.

The property is beautiful. Accommodation is in the form of Balinese Bungalows facing rice fields. A 2-level bungalow all to yourself. The staff is very helpful. The location is very good. A couple of convenience stores are just across the road. There is an Indian restaurant around 10 mins down the road. Monkey forest, which is one of the attractions... More

We planned on 3 nights and stayed 7. Why move when you have all you need and more and the people make you so welcome and are just so nice. We found this establishment to be very good value, there was construction going on right beside us, but the rice fields, pool, and peaceful surroundings far out weighed this incovenience.... More

I arrived in Ubud alone after a week-long yoga retreat in Seminya, and booked a standard bungalow at Agung Raka. It was truly a lovely experience - my bungalow was two-levels all to myself, with an air-conditioned upstairs bedroom, and downstairs a seating area with pillows and a table to either have a meal or lounge about with a good... This really is a wonderful place to stay and highly recommended. The manager Dewa went out of his way to ensure we had a great time. Great location, only a few minutes from town. The rooms are wonderful and the view of the rice fields are to die for. Cant rate it enough, we look forward to going back again
