Very unimpressed with our stay at pertiwi! My husband and I came for our honeymoon, and decided to splash out on a nice hotel. We asked for a quite room, so we were placed down the very back of the property. It was a long and hilly walk to our room, though the gardens looked amazing. We were informed about... More

Stayed in a pool villa towards the back of the resort - having our own pool & verandah with chairs was just the ticket - so relaxing and quiet! Few hills to negotiate but it helped kick start the fitness improvement. Loads of great restaurants nearby & monkey forest is walking distance for a visit too :) would love to... More

We had a great stay at this friendly resort central to everything ubud has to offer. The grounds are beautiful and kept us fit and healthy walking around. You can walk to everything. Wi if worked really well. Room was very pleasant and clean. Staff super helpful at all times. I cannot fault the place.

Ubud is an amazing place and this hotel is rirht in the middle of the city, so that is a big, big plus. But the the hotel was not that wounderful, ok for a couple of days lika I had, just passing thru on a trip around Bali. One pool was closed so the one that was left was cramped.... More

Just a few steps from the famous monkey forests and the center, the Pertiwi resort is a calm and relaxing place to stay in Ubud. The hotel has two swimming pools, one near the bar, the other one in a beautiful garden, surrounded by a profuse and luxuriant vegetation. The service is kind and helpful, and the bedroom was clean... More

Glad we left this place after 3 nights. Booked the "super de-luxe" room. Really do not want to think what a standard room would look like. We had stains on floors, ceilings, crummy bathroom and so on. Looks it was put up in 1960 without any renovation after that. Poor customer service as well. Only good thing is location. When... More

I moved to Pertiwi at short notice, as the hotel I was booked into originally turned out to be miles from Ubud. In terms of the location I wasn't disappointed: you couldn't ask for a better spot. Right in the centre of town, with so many nice shops, cafés and restaurants nearby. About a ten minute walk from the palace,... More

Stayed there with my family for a night on our way back, Ubud is a very nice place, the location is good, rooms are reasonably well maintained, however very poor customer service, no room service menu and break fast menu is something I better live without eating it. Not worth for the $$$ we pay...

Like every other place I go to in Bali, the real local people who are still poor and living in village life wearing traditional clothings are super nice and pure, and the ones who can speak English and been working in tourism for awhile are rude and trying everything to rip me off. In the end i just couldn't be... More

I stayed here for two nights while touring Bali and found the location to be ideal for exploring Ubud and the surrounding area. The rooms are spacious with lots of cupboard space, although we were at the back of the hotel, far from reception but handy for breakfast. The WIfi signal in the room was un-reliable but I had no...
