Amazing family, so friendly and helpful. Close to everything you need. Room was super clean and comfortable. Coconut tree outside the room which they didnt mind us climbing to cut down a coconut. Helped us when booking things and came back to stay with them again, in total stayed 6 nights. Highly recommend :)

Travelled as a couple, stayed in a standard double room with fan. + the best wifi I've had since being in Indonesia + lovely spacious room with fridge + really good fan + great value for money + right next to Sindhu beach - half an hour walk to Sanur beach (maybe just hire a bike) - either breakfast was... I couldn't say it better than all the other positive reviews about wayan guesthouse. Clean, comfortable room that was cleaned daily. Great breakfast and scooters for rent at normal rates. Traditional, lively compound with beautiful Hindu artwork. We bumped in here late at night and feel lucky to have found a room here for 1 week. Only things that could... More

Hi, We stayed at Wayan's in April earlier this year. The exp was fantastic. The place can get slightly difficult to find but call Wayan up and he can come pick you up! The family is warm, friendly and caring. I recommend this place to everyone, sooo much better then a hotel. An Experience you all must try! D

It was our absolute pleasure to stay at Wayan Family Homestay 2 for two nights/ 3 days. If we return to Bali, there is no doubt that we would return here. It was low cost (IDR 200,000 per night / USD 20 for two people sharing) in peak season, the room had a fan, hot water and comfortable linen. The... More

I came back two times to this family homestay. It's located on a big road, close to restaurants, a big supermarket and the famous Monkey Forest. Bungalows come with a nice veranda, big bed, warm water, wifi and even breakfast. The family is not pushy, but welcomes you every time you see them (sometimes quite awkward when you pass by... More

Wayan Family Homestay will surely remind you that you have arrived in Bali. Wooden carved doors will reveal the Balinese garden with a couple of bungalows that are worth a visit. Each bungalow has its own terrace, fan (no A/C), cold/hot shower, ok bed and a sink. The owner also has a more expensive hotel, and therefore can also take... More

Wayan has the pros and cons of being a typical balinese accommodation. The minibungalow is set in a true balinese household compound. It is good if you want to feel part of the culture and see the daily activities of women and a balinese extended family. The people don't always speak english, but are lovely and helpful, and take great... More

Like others, I arrived at this homestay by accident but I am glad I did. First, I love the location. It is centrally located on Jalan Hanoman, making everything within walking distance. The family who owns and lives there are so sweet. The property is beautiful-- animals everywhere. The rooms are very basic, but the internet was fast, hot water... More

We arrived in Ubud around 8pm and had no-where to stay. Staff sitting outside Ubud Terrace Hotel said it was full but said there were rooms around the corner at Wayan Family ii Homestay. How lucky we were. As we walked the narrow back lanes and came upon the ornately carved wooden doors we stepped into another world. Exotic birds,... More
