Ubud hasn't got that many hostels and you might want to treat yourself to a bit of 'luxury' by staying in one of the numerous home stays. Indra Home Stay was recommended to me with good reason. At 200,000 for a room with two beds, for 2 people sharing you get a private room with comfy beds and a hot... More

Boss(the owner) has his family in the compound in front and runs the homestay in the rear compound. The rooms are clean and the people are very friendly. My favorite breakfast was the banana pancakes, fruit and tea. Boss... More

Off the beaten track, still in the centre of ubud, you find this lovely courtyard, a lush and colourful environment and lots of shade! The owner is very helpful, the rooms are spotlessly clean with fantastic matrasses and the breakfast is good! It' s really good value for money and in the night it's very quiet, no sound of traffic... More
