After 20 hours of travel, I was picked up at the airport by Wayan's husband. They gave me a meal when I arrived, and Wayan hugged me and told me I was family! I stayed in a room with a balcony and it was charming. The air conditioning was cold, and there was a TV in the room. I enjoyed... More

I was lucky enough to be able to stay here for an entire month while completing a yoga training (July 12-Aug 13). It was a wonderful experience! First of all my room was the BEST! Room #2, upstairs with beautiful antique furniture, marble flooring, my own bathroom and tub to soak my worn out muscles and the best part...the balcony!... More

I stayed in Mulawarman for four days at the end of July 2014. The hotel is located near the end of a narrow path next to Abangan hotel, about a 10-minute walk from the centre of Ubud (where Ubud Palace is). The path isn't lit, so have a torch ready if you're arriving at night. Stay here if you're looking... More

Our family had 2 rooms here, but our schedule only allowed us to stay 1 night. ....would gladly have stayed longer! As it happened, Wayan, the hostess, was busy with family commitments during most of our stay, but the fine young men at Mulawarman took good care of us! The more expensive rooms are lovely and very comfortable, and breakfast... More

I stayed in Mularwarman from 7-20th June 2014 - and it became my Bali Home. As soon as I met Wayan I was made to feel like her family as she took such good care of me and I fell in love with the staff who couldn't do enough for me. I was traveling on my own so naturally I... More

I arrived for my stay after communicating months before about my booking, I was told to book through agoda and advised the best room for me and my one year old son. We took the narrow path to get there only to find noone knew of my booking ( I have receipts and had paid in full) the place was... More

Wayan has one of the biggest hearts in the world! She instantly became our Balinese Mom, and we cherished every day we spent at Mulawarman. Wayan was happy to answer our questions about the Balinese culture, and arranged for us to go on an amazing volcano hike which was incredible! She introduced us to an incredible kecak ceremony, arranged for... More

I stayed at Mulawarman for a few days. Wayan the landlady, she's a very lovely person who likes to give us an excellent service as her guest at Mulawarman. I like her homemade balinese food. The room that she gave me, its pretty huge, double bed and also clean. The location of the place its very near to blanco museum... More

We stayed at Mulawarman's guesthouse during 5 days in July 2013 and we really enjoyed our stay. We arrived exhausted after traveling throughout Java and visiting the volcanos there. Mulawarman welcome us very warmly with fruits and tea. We stayed in a garden view room on the ground floor. It was very clean, comfortable and spacious. The guesthouse overall is... More

We booked this stay in Ubud as a bit of a splurge on our trip! Our room was small but very pretty and clean! The mosquito net was an ankle saver!! Water pressure is strong and that is so welcome after the weak hostel showers of Kuta! The walk to the rice paddies is so beautiful and it's quite close!... More
