I saw Darta Homestay in 2013 and wanted to stay in my trip in 2014. I am very happy I chose this place. It's on Jalan Goutama which is a nice and quiet street not far from Ubud Market with lots of great restaurants. The place is clean and cozy, the garden is the highlight of Darta Homestay. It's so... Dartas is located on possibly the best street in Ubud - so many lovely shops and restaurants so you're right in the middle of it but as the homestay is set back from the road it's quiet and peaceful. Rooms are quite big, they have everything you need. Breakfast is good and big portions and the family are so lovely... More

Whenever I'm in Ubud, I always come back to Darta Homestay which I consider my home in Bali. Excellent location - in one of the most alive and coolest streets - Goutama, next to Raya Ubud street and a few minutes walk to Monkey Forest Road. Although in the very centre of Ubud, Darta is a quiet and peaceful asylum... More

I've been staying in Darta for already more than two months and probably still a couple of months to go. I absolutely love this place! From the minute I walked in I felt that this was a good place to make "my home". Darta has a beautiful green garden where you can hear the birds sing and the crickets chirp,... More

I loved staying here, I felt the community was like a family. I had a great opportunity to socialise with the locals and travellers living here and they were so so friendly. I stayed here for 3 nights and for the price I was paying, I definitely got a lot more than I paid for. Breakfast is included and it's... More

I stayed at Darta for 6 weeks in July to August 2013. The room and terrace area I had was clean and they serve good, tasty breakfast. Communal areas are keep very tidy. The internet is reliable and I was able to skype without any issues. One of my favourite things at Darta is that there are sunbeds on the... More

This was the 3rd place I stayed in Ubud and I ended up here the longest (5 nights) because it was comfortable, clean, central (yet quiet), and the people who manage the homestay are very kind and helpful. Out of many places I stayed in Ubud and other towns in Bali, this was one of my favorites. The breakfasts are... More

I have been in Ubud many times already but this was my first stay at Darma Homestay. First thing : the guesthouse is situated in Jalan (street) Goutama which I think is the best street to stay in Ubud. It is situated in between the two very commercial Hanuman and Monkey forest streets. While a few more trendy shops get... More

Thankfully we stumbled across this place as we wandered round looking for accommodation in Ubud. It is like an Oasis in the best street in Ubud, rooms are huge and fans are powerful. Great bathrooms and internet is very fast in the rooms too. All very clean. Best suprise was the breakfast...you have your normal choices for indonesia...egg and toast,... More

Very clean, very well kept place. Feels like home. Two cute dogs as well! Free breakfast served in your own private patio area outside your door. Jalan Goutama (street) is very quiet, but still has a fantastic selection of delicious warungs, restaurants and charming cafes. Its one of my favorite streets in Ubud. Quieter than the main roads, but a... More
