This is such a sweet place, quiet, tranquil, and really relaxing. The staff are super helpful, and each morning they bring breakfast to your patio! It's great to feel that luxury for only $20 USD (approx.) per night! The only criticism is of the dog--cute, but very barky. The room was nice--not luxurious, but simple, and pretty clean, albeit a... More

Ekas Homestay was perfectly located and just minutes from the ubud city center, monkey forrest, temples, museums shops and restaurants. Although just few minutes away feom jalan raya Ubud the homestay rooms are tucked away off the main street (located at jalan Sriwedari) and the setting is tranquil with a stunning balinesse architecture elements and lots artistic sculptures. Set in a tranquil temple-ish garden are several bungalows with spacious simple rooms. Room was okay, not very atmospheric but clean and sufficient. Very good hot shower. Breakfast was the standard toast/eggs/pancakes/fruits, but well prepared. Owners are very friendly and helpful (good motorbikes for rent). All in all very good value.

Eka's homestay was absolutely wonderful. Pasac and his wife are so friendly and feel like your parents while you are there. The rooms are clean and comfortable and have great porches to relax on (don't forget to wear your bug spray at night though!). The home is a traditional Balinese home and you truly feel like you're staying in a... More

This lovely homestay guest house is run by a family who have their own temple in the gardens and it is beautiful. The accommodation is basic but adequate for the price. We were made very welcome and luckily for us the husband is also a drummer for a music group who perform for the dancing in The Royal Palace. We... More

I chose to stay at this stunning guesthouse for one week and could not have been happier with my experience. A true Balinese home run by a very welcoming family who are all full of smiles and happy to offer advice on things to do and places to see. My room was very spacious with a ceiling fan, huge double... More

Ekas place is in a bustling part of Ubud, so it's very easy to walk to all the sites from here. The rooms are not particularly noisy though. It's a nice experience staying in a family compound and gives a great insight into typical Balinese family life. Rooms are no frills, which is reflected in the price. The owner plays... More

My experience in this hotel was the worst I could had. At a first glance it looks nice, with a beautiful balinese entrance. But when you get inside you start to realize what a trick! I had to ask to see 3 differents rooms until I could find the less worst. The walls have mold on it, the matress old,... More

Stayed here in a double bed room with fan. We don't like AC so far is ideal for us. Very, very clean accommodation. Hot water is hot, but don't compare it to the efficiency of western showers. Bed was big. Host is always smiling and helpful. Beautiful, well kept housing compound. Host will help you find deals around town for... More

This place is so nice. You have the opportunity to sleep around a temple, so special. The owner and the staff are amazing people, nice and kind. The breakfast is insane, one of the best ones in Asia, for sure! They have 2 kinds of rooms, the old ones and the new ones. We stayed in the old ones, very... More
