The location was great. The state of the room was awful. The door was so bowed that if you tried to close it from the outside there was a gaping space 4 inches wide into the room with the room being "locked". A nice bug crawled out from underneath the towels on the bed. And while I was wet and... More

Stayed for 3 nights in a twin room with fan. It's the perfect location in the centre of Ubud, but off the main road and down a quiet lane, with beautiful greenery surrounding the rooms. A real piece of paradise! We were made to feel very at home and given lots of tips and advice about this to do and... More

In the center of Ubud, 2 mn walking to the market. A few small houses surrounded by green trees, flowers, birds with ritual balinese. Friendly managt and staff. Prefer a ground floor room because 1st floor are not enough noise proof.

I first went to Bali in 1991 where I was introduced to Nyoman and Rai Suradnya who own and run Nirvana Pension right in the heart of Ubud. And as a long time traveler to Ubud Bali I always stay at Nirvana Pension, which is situated central Ubud on Jalan Gautama just a few moments walk to the market and... More

I stayed at this place for three nights, after reading rave reviews on Lonely Planet. It was nice, great garden and family temple, located in the center of Ubud, near amazing shops and restaurants. The rather loud caged birds evenly distributed around the premises were annoying early in the morning and so was the burning smoke from the stove or... More

A friend recommended this place in Ubud. The road leading to this place is a bit narrow, but then is quite normal in this little town of Ubud. It would probably be a bit difficult to locate it. The caretaker was friendly. The room includes a simple breakfast which is reasonable. If you are an art lover, I would recommend... More

If you have really low expectations this place may be paradise. The gardens in the courtyard are charming and the classic wood carving details on the buildings are homey and kind of make the place feel authentic and balinese. The family who owns the inn are friendly and kind. The shower had some sort of green moss-like vegetation growing in... More

I stayed 4 nights. It was clean and homely with a lovely family. Right in the middle of everything in Ubud but it was quiet and safe. I highly recommend staying here. Also they provide a nice breakfast.

Very nice room with fairy balcony, beautiful furniture & comfortable bed. It is clean, really! And hot water in bathroom is really hot. Actually there were many little ants in bathroom, but they don't bother us;) The location is good. The owner is very friendly & cheerful, looks like Lucky Buddha:)) The breakfast is big and very tasty, book it... More

A beautiful place, art and flowers everywhere. Good location. A negative was that the bedding was washed but stained. A positive was the excellent guide(and driver) who is there at breakfast. He's been there three years and speaks English. His name is Wayan Benot. His email is: w_benot@yahoo.com.
