Wow I'm so surprised at what a terrible hotel this was. Amazing at first with the view and the hotel itself, but you need to spray insect repellent at least 2x an hour, you need to make sure you order on the menu and they write down the right meal, be prepared to spend 30$ a meal, even if your... I'm torn about this hotel. On one hand, i really liked my room and the service was amazing. Breakfast, like in the rest of Bali was great and it was close enough to town to walk. But! If you don't like stairs (like myself) or have bad knees then this is not the place for you. Every day involved hundreds... More

My husband and I have just visited the hotel last week June, we have stayed before two years ago and found that they have improved the deluxe rooms adding a safety box in room and tv, also updated the bathrooms. They are currently renovating the restaurant should be wonderful by August. The staff have a wonderful smile and everyone says... More

We enjoyed our visit to hotel tjampuhan. It's about 10-15 Minute walk into town or around 40,000 rupiah taxi. The baby cot provided was a traditional Balinese cot which would suit a baby that cannot roll. Otherwise bring your own or hire one from a company. The hotel were very friendly helping me phone companies etc. The surroundings are beautiful... More

We have stayed here before and love it each time. just sitting on the balcony having a drink, reading a good book, watching the squirrels or just taking in the great views. it is very relaxing here. the hotel is currently upgrading the restaurant so all food was in the lower level. We had no problems with meals being cold,... More

We spent five nights in this hotel. We loved the nature of the resort, room is nice, and staff is good. They have also very beautiful spa. But in my opinion this would be better hotel than is now! I offer some suggestions: - the hotel has 10 years and was first hotel in Ubud. You recognize it some details... More

I had our stay recently for two days - unfortunately -sincerely wish to stay here longer, hoping to come again next time. I really don't know what the other places looks like in ubud therefore I am not able to make a fair comparison between any of accommodation options in this place , nevertheless Tjampuhan did very well for us... This resort is a very well laid out resort, it is very beautiful to the eye with the pounds, landscaping and location overlooking tjamphuan river. There are a lot of stairs as it is on a hill, but it is quite romantic having little hits and rooms spread out all over the resort. Walking distance to Ubud market and monkey... More

My wife and I have been here for a few days now so I feel that now is the time to review. POSITIVES The setting is as many people have said is stunning with the hotel set on the side of a gorge amongst well kept and probably quote old gardens. The cottages are as you would expect Balinese style... More

As you walk through the small reception room, you have no idea of what lies below you. A maze of buildings on varying levels which overlook a valley. A more tropical, lush surrounding would be hard to find. The accommodations are spread out on different levels and do not overlook one another. The bedrooms and bathrooms are huge, but somewhat...
