Arrived yesterday for 3 day stay. Step down to lobby from busy Main Street Ubud to enter another world. Cold towels and drink along with warm greeting. Our room is fantastic and we have the cheapest available so the others must be amazing. Set on hillside along a creek perfect spot to relax in lounge or chairs by the pool.... More

Beautiful place, we stayed for 4 Days 3 Nights. Hotel staffs are friendly, always smiley and very approachable. Welcome drinks and cold towels were presented to us upon check-in. Room (Villa Style) is spacious for 2 occupants. Room lightings are too dim for reading at night. Average cleanliness, bed lining not smelling fresh. Toothbrush & toothpaste are not provided in... This hotel has an old world mystical feel, on the side of a cliff overlooking the river. With winding path ways leading through beautifully looked after gardens, water features and statues. One thing to watch if you're not good with stairs this place may not be for you, there are a lot of stairs. The hotel has a shuttle that... More

I decided to splurge and stay at Hotel Tjampuhan for two nights while I was in Bali. (I'm a teenager backpacker...). The breakfast was great (especially the pancakes!!) The staff friendly and the location pretty close to many things in Ubud. The hotel itself is really beautiful with carvings everywhere, especially the spa!! (Which unfortunately cost money to enter even... More

Staying at The Tjampuhan is an experience. The serenity, beauty, both natural & man made, & a wonderful good heartedness from the staff fills the place. The Hotel is set in a magical rainforest valley, with a bubbling river below. You can see & experience this magnificent environment from everywhere in the hotel. Built by the king of Ubud in... We spent a week at the Tjampuhan. It's in a beautiful setting on the banks of the river, just outside the centre of Ubud. It's 15-minute walk into the centre. The rooms are in buildings of 4 to 6 at a time, set into the river bank. We had a large, comfortable room - couldn't fault it. Air conditioning and... More

Very quiet location, overlooking the river. The hotel sprawls down over the hillside, with a spa at the riverbank. The rooms were a bit dated, but very comfortable. The grounds are amazing, and deserve a few wanders around. The spa is incredible, with sculpted animals, gods etc forming all the walls. Indulged with a massage on the riverbank, and the... More

Wonderful old style hotel in an unique setting. Beautiful gardens. Fantastic spa and pools. I would definitely go back and stay there again. Comfortable and tranquil. The manager Wayan Astra was a good host and my stay was fantastic.

This hotel is not just a place to stay but an experience and a classically Ubud experience at that! The hotel was originally built to host guests of the royal family and the location and grounds of this hotel are luscious, marvellous and mystical! This hotel could also be categorised as a museum, botanical garden and nature park! Beyond the... More

this isn't your typical luxury hotel but it is the perfect place to experience the real Balinese culture. This cute little hotel has everything you need and more. The staff are so friendly, the rooms are clean and tidy, the views are amazing, the little walkways and unique features make you feel like you are in Bali. I would recommend... More
