We stayed in Tjampuhan for 5 days. Location is ideally situated about 10 minutes stroll to Ubud town centre. Hourly free shuttle bus service available for those who prefer to walk. There are many stairs to against a beautiful manicured terraced landscape gardens graced by a pond and pool. Must visit and be spoilt by the charms , friendly staff... More

Great place, friendly staff, good breakfast, beautiful pool area, nice spa and very good massage! My friend and I were very pleased with this hotel! People may think is far from downtow and offer you a taxi, they do it all the time, but we walked everywhere, you can do the same if don't mind the bad pavement and not... More

From the moment I walked into the hotel, I knew my Bali experience was going to be great. This hotel is even better than the photos since there would be no way to capture the feel of the winding stairs and paths throughout the resort. It magnified the beauty of Bali and was so comforting to come back to after... More

Having been to Bali many times before, but not ever actually staying for more than a day in Ubud, our last trip we stayed for three nights at Tjampuhan, after it was recommended to us. We like to head to Pecatu for infinity pools with to-die-for views and absolute beach-front resorts for surfing and relaxing.. But this resort was just... More

We arrived at Hotel Tjampuhan & Spa after a long day of travel from Gili T. We were tired, hungry, salty from the boat ride, a bit sun burnt and just generally knackered! But all of that fell away the minute we stepped inside the lobby. Greeted with cold, fresh towels and delicious rice wine, both my fiancée and I... More

Blew me away, was awesome. Decorated Bali style great service, food average but many beautiful restaurants nearby and great coffee over the road. Very peaceful surrounds. Great shopping and markets nearby.

The rooms are quite dated and the interior is very dark though traditional Balinese in style. The food at breakfast was nice, the dinner was lovely, staff are helpful and friendly, the pool is beautiful, hotel is in a great location, but for me the very best was the gorge at the bottom - SOO beautiful! Bridges restaurant just down... More

What an uniquely different kind of hotel the Tjampuhan is. Our Balinese style room was a stand alone bungalow, lovely big & airy tucked into the side of a hill overlooking the lush garden & tropical forest. The down side to this lovely room,in it's gorgeous setting was to get to the reception, restaurant & pools my husband & I had... More
