We have just come back from our 9th stay at Tjampuhan. We had 2 rooms for 5 nights overlooking the amazing jungle setting.. We always love the traditional Balinese feel of this place and it feels like coming home. Unfortunately we missed seeing Eustace and Agus who have just left but the staff are friendly and attentive. We love the... More

Stayed here for 2 nights. Slept in one of the lovely new refurbished room (emailed them to request this before arriving). The hotel grounds were stunning. A little out of the main area of ubud. Though only a 15 min walk or the hotel offers a free shuttle every hour. The spa area blew us away. Never seen anything like... More

Nice hotel- staff is mostly willing, but not always efficient or effective. Cleanliness is an issue. The rooms are ok but the bathroom in our villa was- well a little sad... Hygiene could (and should) be improved... Location is excellent and the design of the hotel is beautiful! You should NOT stay here if you are disabled or have difficulty... More

This hotel has possibly the most incredible setting of anywhere I've stayed, nestled deep in the valleys of Ubud, every part of the hotel feels like a secluded paradise. The room was very comfortable, with outstanding views. The staff were friendly and helpful, if a little disorganised. Each day when they cleaned our rooms they forgot to return clean towels,... More

We stayed at ubud for 3 nights at this hotel and it is surrounded by beautiful surrounds even though you are right near the town. the staff were all eager to help with any request we had. The breakfast was great but it could have been served hotter. The room service meals were all wonderful. Just a walk around this... More

The Tjampuhan Hotel was breathtakingly beautiful from the very first moment we walked in. The views over the cascading hills down to the river was stunning from every angle and the traditional Balinese look of the accomodation was devine. The staff went above and beyond to attend to our every needs and always greeted us with a huge smile. The... More

The food was yummy too :) stayed for 8 nights and had no complaints at all. The spa was beautiful too and the massage was great. I would come back to this hotel many more... More

We have just returned from our second visit to this hotel, the last being 7 years ago and it is just beautiful, peaceful and relaxing in the most incredible setting you will see. Waking up to the sounds of the jungle / rain forest is the stuff of dreams, birds, frogs, squirrels, running water, wow. The resort is set in... More

We loved staying here. The hotel rooms cascade down the gully. Thank goodness for the great porters! The room was immaculate, the bed was so comfortable. The restaurant food was yummy and the pool area was great.

We stayed here 2 nights. The rooms are located in shared, traditional balinese villas laid out on a steep hill overlooking 2 merging rivers. Wonderful setting, but not ideal if you have physical disabilities. Our rooms were very "balinesicly" decorated, clean but also had a distinct damp smell. This was not due to the aircon, but rather the room itself.... More
