Construction is complete on the 9 new rooms at the Okawati. Now you have a choice of the older rooms with lots of character or the newer ones that have just been completed. The staff is exceptional, handle any request promptly and efficiently plus they can make arrangements for transports/tours, etc. A one stop shop. The location off Monkey Forrest... More

Okawati hotel is in the best location for everything you can do in Ubud! My friends and I enjoyed staying here so much we went back for one more night at the end of our trip before heading to the airport! Staff are incredibly kind and helpful and the food is very tasty! It's worth every penny! Suitable for anyone... More

Okawati Hotel was fantastic. I knew I wasn't getting a "5 Star" Ubud experience when I booked the room but, for the price range, it was pretty great! The rooms were filled with heavy Balinese hand-carved furniture, had gorgeous porches where breakfast was served every morning, and my room had a fan and air con. The food was great! The... More

Expecting to stay three nights we left after one night with a very bad taste in our mouths. Lonely Planet got it wrong this time. Near the center, yes. Otherwise totally unremrkable. Though the online rate was substantially less they refused to reduce ours from the rack rate they had quoted on the phone. They had neglected to mention the... More

This hotel came highly recommended by Lonely Planet, but I think the fame may have caught up with it. Okawati herself and the staff are very helpful and attentive (A+ for that), but, due to popularity, it seemed over-priced for what you get. However, they clearly read reviews like this and respond to them. It is about two blocks from... More

Well-placed down a quiet, narrow alley by the rice fields and just a short walk to Ubud's bustling retail/restaurant area and cultural venues where you can watch a legong performance or a kecak fire dance. Note that this alley is not accessible by car: you'll need to walk to the hotel with your things. Room was dated but spacious with... More

My new favourite in Ubud. Perfectly located up a quiet alley just off the football field. The rooms are dated but spacious and nicely private. The pool is nice. Breakfast is wonderful, served on the balcony. Bathroom is a bit old worldly and water pressure is an issue, however this place doesn't seem to suffer the mozzie plagues that other... More

Very old yet good hotel owned by lovely lady, excellent location you don't need taxi to go out, many restaurants, shops and cafés around. The breakfast was really good, each night you fill in breakfast menu what you want to eat, yummy fresh food alot better than 5 star hotels. We had 8b room comfortable big beds, fridge, excellent aircon, huge bathroom... More

This is a very cozy place, only a few minutes walk from central Ubud with its shops and restaurants, and also very close to beautiful quiet rice fields. It is a budget hotel, but our room was a decent size and actually nicer than it looks on their website. Our room was at the end of the garden, so it... More

We stayed here for two nights. At the last moment they cancelled our room and put us in a smaller room. When we arrived we were pretty surprised by how poorly the hotel was maintained. The property is dated, and required a lot of renovation. At night it is poorly lit, and quite creepy walking around, we needed a torch... More
