This was our 3rd stay in the last 3 years and as always Oka Wati and her staff were extremely friendly and will do everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The location is just perfect for exploring Monkey Forest Rd and the Ubud market. The grounds, pool etc are very well maintained and the new rooms under... More

We stayed (only) 4 nights here but it was an excellent experience and we would come back anytime! The hotel is very quiet and surrounded by nature, it is in the middle of Ubud so you can walk around town without using transport. It has a very nice pool as well. I can also recommend the food they prepare in... More

In Aug 2014 we stayed 5 nights in Ubud with our family of five. Okawati was the perfect retreat (yet centrally located) after hours of action in the town or its surroundings. The staff are friendly and helpful and will support you with just about anything you need. The hotel's own swimming pool was a definite plus, good water.

Idyllic yet conveniently close to the main attractions, Okawati is the perfect place for Bali first-timers like my fiancé and me. Breakfast is yummy and the staff is friendly. The bathroom has seen better days but then, it's not a five star hotel.

We spent 7 nights at the Okawati Hotel, and enjoyed it a great deal. All of the staff are very pleasant and helpful. The pool area is feels like your own little piece of paradise. Our breakfast was delicious, and I enjoyed being able to fill out the order the night before. They were in the middle of completely remodeling... More

We booked this hotel based on Lonely Planets recommendations. Its really good value for money. A bit rustic and needed some touch-ups in the room. Showers a bit weak, there is no TV in the room but again its supposed to be peaceful. Air Con is a bit weak but again cos the room has high celings. Great gardens with... More

Great, nice quiet place to stay. The place is hosted by Oka Wati herself, lovely lady and excellent host who always makes sure you have everything you need. I booked for 5 nights and stayed on my own. Nice spacious room, lovely pool (small but certainly big enough) and a lovely breakfast brought to your veranda every day! Must try... More

Beautiful indonesian rooms, sufficient size, view over rice paddy, down a short lane so removed from the noise of the busy street. Excellent and I mean excellent breakfast (get the pineapple pancakes) served on your front balcony. I'm not usually one to see a pool as a major draw when choosing a hotel but the one at the Okawati hotel... More

The Okawati Hotel, if you're on a budget, is one of the best in Ubud. Close to the markets, however, located in a tranquil, quiet and peaceful location off the main road. Getting to the Okawati Hotel was a bit concerning, as the signs lead us down a couple of alleyways; but this adds to the charm once you get... More
