The staff were very helpful in every way and will get you a good deal on tours, attractions and transport. The place is nicely landscaped, and well maintained. Food is good but quite limited choices for breakfast. Location is good, not far from the centre of town. Wifi not very good in the room a lot of the time.

Enjoyed Ubud and the hotel so much, we extended our stay by a further night. Peaceful and tranquil, having a semi outdoor bathroom, lovely pool, lovely garden, small 'library'. My only two gripes would be faint mouldy smell sometimes, and really bad internet connection. Breakfast was limited, you get to choose one item and one drink from the menu, but... More

very centrally located, just 1 Km from the main Ubud market hence at a walkable distance from number of restaurants and cafes and local attractions. Beautiful resort with lovely and helpful staff and great breakfast options. Will never forget the welcome drink!!

Situated in a quiet place 10 to 15 minutes' walk to the centre of Ubud. (As other reviewers pointed out, part of the way - like less than 100 meters - is hilly with no pedestrian pathway. Nevertheless it is manageable.) The rooms are very spacious with lots of storage space. There is a balcony overlooking the farm behind the... More

De Munut does the job. It's a typically Balinese hotel, with all the simple trimmings. Nothing amazing, but it hits the mark and is good for a stay in Ubud. Breakfast is rather simple but nice enough - skip the coffee and get one next door around the corner instead - little bit better. Rooms are clean and comfortable with... More

Look this is a quiet, unpretentious little hotel in a lovely part of ubud. I love staying in penestanan, it's a great part of ubud. I requested and got the same room (201) as last time. It's clean & quiet, simple, great gardens and pools, very satisfactory accommodation. I love the outdoor bathrooms.. Sunbathing on the throne is very satisfying... More

Didn't stay in the accommodation but did have a 3hour spa treatment. I had to ask the therapist several times to use less pressure - she insisted on using a bruising pressure on my legs, they were tender for days afterwards (& I have had many massages over the years). The facial stopped at my jawline (should usually cover neck... More

Nice small hotel with Bali style decor, 2 nice pool areas with nice garden area. Friendly staff. Not much activity in the hotel but it also seemed quite empty at this time of the year. Breakfast is basic, some juice would have been nice. Room 305 was great.

Room was ok, however towels were old and grubby, breakfasts were boring and tasteless, however service was excellent , very poor internet connection they were experiencing problems with Internet but did not inform guests, therefore guests were trying to connect with little or no success, when I raised the issue they indicated the problem was with my iPhone 6. Arranged... More

The hotel is very good!! It is located in a quiet area 5 minutes away with a bike (that you can rent for only 50k per day next to the hotel) from the center of Ubud. We stayed in the suite room that was really nice and clean, with a beautiful view on the pool and the paddies. The breakfast... More
