Loved everything about Honeymoon Guesthouse. It was really authentic, rustic, a breadth of fresh air and service was lovely. Love the fresh fruit juice and fresh dishes they provided. At night, it was just yummy to sleep like a baby after a long day outdoor. Even just chilling out at the balcony would be just fine but we wanted to... more

Honeymoon Guesthouse is part of the growing Casa Luna "empire" in Ubud. We stayed in the Bisma room and found it great! Do not stay here if you like TV as there is none and you will need your own portable sound too (IPOD or MP3 is fine and there is power to recharge). The good side is that you... more

Quiet, clean, really comfortable, and central - only a couple of blocks from the Palace, marketplace and "the strip" that is Monkey Forest Road. Very comfortable pool and WiFi access. Breakfast delivered on your balcony. Cooking school/classes on premises (pricey, but with native English speaking teachers). Staff very helpful. Recommend highly. btw - there were no "honeymooners" here - mostly... more

Although generally the staff were friendly, the rooms were not well looked after, with dirty sheets and many days between changes of linen. The towels were old, and any food was not cleaned away for many hours, despite numerous requests. When eating in a group, meals arrived at very different times, and there were often errors in what was provided.... more

My husband and I came to Honeymoon Guesthouse as a treat in Ubud...and what a treat it was! The room was nicely appointed with a lovely en suite and a huge porch where we enjoyed our breakfast each morning. The pool is small but lovely and the grounds are immaculately kept. There is an on-site restaurant which is also wonderful... more

If you're looking for somewhere midway between a hotel and homestay, this is for you. The family of Janet de Neefe (writer of Fragrant Rice and founder of the Ubud Writers and Readers Festival) lives in this lovely, leafy compound, but you have the privacy and amenities of a small hotel. The breakfasts are excellent, and the morning smell of... more

Honeymoon Guesthouse was great value. The rooms are very basic, with no phones, TVs or air conditioning (at least not in our room), but they are clean and the bathrooms are grand and luxurious with marble sinks and bathtubs. They say air conditioning is not needed in Ubud and that ceiling fans are sufficient - i can sort of agree... more

We stayed at the Indra Deluxe 60.00 a night, highest priced room and well worth it. The grounds are wonderful as well as the staff. There is alot here to offer, they have cooking classes, massage services, breakfast comes to your room. Water and tea twice a day. Internet in lobby, or should I say free internet services for your... more

I am almost reticent to recommend this hotel as it is already so hard to get a booking - and the better reviews it gets - the harder it will be for me to get a booking!! Honeymoon Guesthouse is simply amazing. No...it is not a five star resort hotel...so there is no TV, no phones, and not all rooms... more

No doubt - Bali has become overgrown and everywhere is starting to look way too much like Kuta! However, a place like Honeymoon is what a stay in Bali should be (in my humble opion). Big rooms that look like they were built out of ancient ruins - tons of character and interesting nooks and crannies. A big porch for... more
