We were early for arrival which was no problem. We were greeted with a welcome drink at reception. And shown to our room. The room of the hotel was fantastic. Hotel has 2 pools both overlooking rice fields quite small pools but sufficient for the amount of guest that used them. The room was superb. Big bedroom with reasonable sized... More

Overall, we loved our stay at Biyukukung! This was the third hotel at which we stayed in Ubud and, by far, the best one. Quiet, idyllic, yet close enough to the sites and sounds of Ubud, it was perfect. The Good: After having two not so great stays in Ubud, we walked around town looking for properties and fell in... We spent 5 days there without reserving. There were not many rooms so we have the chance to stay 3 days in the suite! The employees were very kind and available! The swimming pool and the rice fields were very nice!

We loved our stay at the Biyukukung Suites and Spa. The rooms were fantastic, with the bedroom on the upper story - very romantic and beautiful view over the rice paddies. The resort is in a fantastic location, easy to walk to most Ubud sights and great restaurants. The staff were very helpful and accommodating with all requests. Only thing... More

Stayed here for a night only as friends and I were going for Mount Batur the next day. Staffs were okay, friendly enough. Unfortunately, since the other property next to it was also building its place, we got so bothered by the workers and the noise at that time. Complaint a bit to the management asking if we could be... More

Positives: good central location within easy walking distance of all major attractions. Quite a pleasant layout of the accommodation units running down a slope alongside rice fields. Two good sized swimming pools. Negatives: accommodation is in the form of a 2 level unit in a Balinese style with bedroom upstairs and bathroom downstairs. Narrow wooden staircase which is a challenge... More

We stayed with our 4 yo grandson who loved the pool and goldfish ponds throughout property. We were impressed with the overall service but we did have a few communication issues. Rooms very clean and serviced daily but towels were more grey than white. Dirty duck diner 5 min stroll away (separate review) and monkey forest a good 20 min... More

The location of the resort is amazing, right within the rice fields. Rooms are clean and have a bath and shower. It's a 5 minute walk to where the shops and restaurants start and a 10 minute walk to the monkey forest and art market. It's nice and quiet and in my opinion better than to stay right in the... On arrival, our room smelt a bit odd. I went for a hair wash and blow dry, I cannot begin to express just how truly horrific the whole experience was. The girl was scratching and pulling my hair, she was even slapping my head at one point! I don't usually like to complain but my eyes were watering with pain... More

I am writing this review over a year late. We stayed here January 2014. I'm glad we chose Ubud as it was rainy season and it rained most days. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It was in a good location... walk down to the corner and you're on the main drag of Ubud. Breakfast provided was basic but nice.... More
