We had a wonderful experience at the Pita Maha. The staff were so warm and welcoming and tried to make sure we were as comfortable as possible. In fact we were treated like royalty. We are both coeliacs and the hotel went out for their way to accommodate our needs. The setting of the resort is spectacular, surrounded by the... More

Pita Maha is beautiful place with great people. Everyone was genuinely nice and made our stay very welcoming.Pita Maha is located in the middle of the jungle. Villas are built in the way that everyone gets own privacy without overlooking someone's else windows or terrace. Highly recommended for the couples.

My husband and I came to stay at Pita Maha for 8 nights for our honeymoon (In fact we're mid - stay) we are absolutely loving it here. We were put into 201 which is newly renovated, the villa is truly amazing with excellent views. It's quite a trek up and down the steep stairs but if you're young and... More

Warm welcome, large charming room very private, beautifull garden and swimming pool. Exceptionally warm and helpfull people. We really felt here what makes Bali so special. If we ever come back to Bali this would be top of our list.

We loved every minute at this property, and if coming back to Bali, would do the entirety of our trip here- skipping Seminyak all together in favor of staying in Ubud exclusively. The staff here are helpful and friendly. There is a shuttle going right into town, and almost next door is the most delicious Italian restaurant. The location is... More

The rooms are large and very private, you have your own outdoor spa. I would recommend asking for a room on the lower level with a view of the river. Our room had a block wall so we didn't have much of a view. We were able to walk to a very good restaurant from the hotel, which was very... More

This was our first trip to Ubud and decided to stay at Pita Maha. All I can say is wow wow wow. Spectacular views, nice spacious villa with pool and garden overlooking valley and river. The hotel staff were very helpful and professional. The food was fantastic although a little bit pricey. If your planning for a romantic getaway then... More

We had a pool villa which was outstanding. I cannot imagine anything better in Bali. We had a private pool, an outdoor porch where we had breakfast 2 mornings, a living area, an outdoor shower that was very romantic. There are lots of steps as the villas are set in the jungle. Furninishings are very Indonesian, warm and comfy. Staff... More
