We stayed at the Pita Maha the last 4 nights of our honeymoon and had an amazing time there. First, we were upgraded to a family pool villa (for only the 2 of us) which was great! Then everything from staff, service, spa, cleanness, food was a real enjoyment. We also loved the live cooking afternoon tea and the free... more

We stayed for almost a month. Our villa was spacious and lovely, with a wonderful view and its own plunge pool. It is serviced twice per day, and the housekeeping is excellent. The restaurant is 5 star--the breakfasts superb. The best compliment is reserved for the staff. From reception to dining to housekeeping, the staff is the best we have... more

The Pita Maha is not one of the newest developments in Bali. Rooms are a little dated and TV/Communication facilities are not up to date. But because this hotel has been around for a while the trees and flowers are fully grown and the location is just magnificent. The whole resorts blends perfectly into the environment and even has its... more

The Pita Maha in Ubud is the best place I have ever stayed. The hotel is on the side of a beautiful gorge and across from rice paddies and makes maximum use of the location. The individual villas are nicely done with day beds inside and outside and an outdoor but enclosed bath/shower. The service is great and the breakfast... more

We stayed at the Pita Maha for our honeymoon in October 2008. Having only seen this resort on the internet, we were delighted to find it was everything that we had hoped for. Infact it's website doesn't do it justice! We stayed in a private villa with our own pool.... everything from the customer service, complementary gifts, turn down service,... more

My husband and I loved this hotel! A fancy jungle hideaway for far less than you’d spend in the US, we had our own elegant marble-and-wood villa with a little plunge pool. The hotel’s infinity pool sits below the dining rooms and above the river, with a dream view of rice paddies and palm trees across the way... For more,... more

The Pita Maha was the highlight of our stay in Bali. The tranquil setting was our first impression, and upon our arrival the tone was set for the the most wonderful holiday experience we could have imagined. Greeted by the always attentive, kind, and happy staff, we were shown to our villa. We stayed in the Pool garden villa; one... more

We stay at the Royal Pita Maha and the Pita Maha twice a year. Each trip we split our stays between the two hotels because we don't know which one we love the most. Both are in spectacular locations. Both hotels have warm and friendly staff who give us excellent service. The villas in both hotels offer privacy, luxury and... more

Perfection at it's best. We loved the Pita Maha and can't wait to go back. Our villa was magnificent and one of the nicest villas we've ever stayed in. The villa itself was spacious and beautifully decorated. The grounds and plunge pool were wonderful and the views from our villa were just breathtaking. Pita Maha also offers free shuttle service... more

This is a stunning paradise - we loved it, even though we had seen all the other visitors holiday snaps on trip advisor, it was still stunning to actually be there. The villa is gorgeous, so spaceous, so many choices of where to chill out! We loved the secluded feeling of being behind walled gardens with no-one overlooking you -... more
