Beautifully appointed villa in the village of Payogan about 10 minutes taxi ride from the Palace in Ubud. Villa provided a shuttle service at fixed times during the day so it was not a big problem to get to the centre. Komang, the Manager and his team were very friendly and helpful. We had booked the Lotus room which was... More

We often stay in Ubud when we visit Bali, so being close to the action was not my priority. What I wanted was peace and quiet and spending time at the pool. Things did not work out like that. Work on the temple next door turned the swimming pool into a vibrating version of itself, and the noise was too... More

As a woman traveling alone, to country in which I had never been, I relied heavily on reviews to make my decision on where to stay. I am so very grateful that I did because my stay here was absolutely perfect. Upon arrival, I immediately felt a wave of peacefulness and comfort wash over me; Komang and the rest of... More

I am sitting on a banana lounge, under an umbrella protecting me from the warm morning sun, by a beautiful pool in what should be a serene Balinese setting. I'd just enjoyed a good breakfast served by friendly staff, whilst chatting with other guests over a fresh pineapple juice. The only problem - the incessantly loud generator from the construction... This Villa was a beautiful and tranquil place to relax, especially by the swimming pool which is a perfect size for actually swimming. At times it felt like I was the only person there, which was lovely! After being at a yoga festival for five days, this was the perfect next stop on my journey. The breakfast was absolutely delicious... More

Villa Saraswati is a welcome respite in the busy Ubud area. The villa is spotless, unique, tranquil and a short ride into Ubud city proper. Staff at the Vila are attentive yet unobtrusive. Breakfast is ample and delicious. Bike tours and airport transfer was arranged for us at our request. Perfect in every way! You cannot go wrong in staying... More

We only had 3 nights to spend in Ubud at the end of February and were having a tough time deciding on where to stay. We finally decided on Villa Saraswati after researching trip advisor and we are so glad we chose this Villa. The wonderful experience started when we walked into the Villa and continued until we checked out.... More

We absolutely loved our stay. Nothing was too much trouble. Friendly hosts, went out of their way to drop/pick us up from town, and even when we got stuck in ubud at midnight they still came out to rescue us! Very clean, spacious rooms. 3£ taxi at most from town. Very helpful team with regards t tailoring activities- cookery course,... More
