Myself and my sister stayed at Villa Saraswati for 4 nights in January and were blown away right from the moment we stepped inside... The decor is beautiful and simple with a lovely upstairs sitting room area, downstairs is a garden area with pool, comfy sun loungers and a big breakfast table. Our room opened up onto the pool and... More

I love love love this place. I only stayed here 3 nights, but I was seriously reconsidering postponing my flight. I stayed in the Swan room, which is nicely tucked away in the back. The room is lovely and big. The bed is wonderful. The best bed I had, I think ever. There is an indoor and outdoor shower and... More

My husband and I spent 3 nights here and really enjoyed our stay. The staff are all extremely friendly and accommodating. They provided us with rides to various destinations, a cell phone to borrow to call when we were ready to be picked up, made dinner reservations for us, etc. Our room was beautiful (swan), the living room and outdoor... Seond time in a year in Bali, and visiting Ubud again as our preferred place. No question we stayed again in the Villa Saraswati to enjoy the beautiful Lotus room. Fulll windows on 3 sides, large room and bedrrom, two showers (one outside!). We just love the place and its ambiance, lots of style, elegant, beautiful house...and one pool long... More

Where to start... I try to stay in small hotels and B&Bs everywhere I travel and this may be the best one I've ever stayed at. Location: The Villa is located in the village of Payogan which is about 3 miles outside of Ubud. Normally, I like to stay within walking distance to the town center but this location was... More

Second time at Villa Saraswati somehow, miraciously, exceeded the first time. The staff are superb. From cooking, to room presentation, to local restaurant tips, to tour suggestions (if you ask), to taxiing you to Ubud, to dressing you to visit the local temple, each request is met with a metre long grin. Nothing is too hard. The place just works... More

I stayed at Villa Saraswati for four nights in the Peacock Room. I loved it! First, the design and decor of the property is gorgeous and luxurious. It's a very welcoming space. The room itself was great too. Spacious, quiet, clean - with every amenity you could ask for. Super comfortable bed, huge bathroom and my favourite - the decadent... More

We stayed there for 4 nights and I really enjoyed the location in a traditional Balinese village, away from the buzzling ubud centre. It was a prestige stay at a luxurious villa- with pure relaxation and comfort! Staff were courteous right at the moment when we stepped in the villa and they were professional and always attentive towards our needs.... More

Needing some "me" time, I decided to stay outside of Ubud for my first visit to Bali. I read reviews here on TA and spoke to friends who advised me that Ubud has become very crowded. I fell in love with the property even before arriving after reading reviews and taking a look at some photos. I arrived on my... More

Excellent place to stay for everyone. Very nice courteous people. They provide taxi @ very subsided rates, not only that they take you places were not other tourist visit. Beautiful villas build around so many trees. Host is very nice person with good knowledge of Bali and speaks good English. Very lovely family to stay with. Affordable.
